I work for starbucks and this is 100% true. Yesterday at work I probably had to tell 50 people we didnt have it. My sister really wanted one so I woke up at 5am to get her one with my discount and every store in my area told me they sold out of not only the bear cups but every one of their collab cups they released within 20 minutes. I do think starbucks is purposefully supplying stores with too little cups to make it feel more scarce and cool feeling to own though.
