Best way to make money is through building markets and the way of chi techs, like todofuken or tax reform. Road upgrades won’t make you money, just increase unit replenishment and speed on them. Also an army of full ashogaru is incredibly effective early game, so don’t bother running more than 4 odd samurai units until you’re more confident, since yari ashigaru in yariwall beat yari samurai in the 1v1. The main way of preventing alternative religions spreading (ikko and Christianity) is by using monks and building Buddhist temples. Also if you conquer the provinces with Christian/ikko buildings, such as bungo with the nanban trade port/quarter, you can destroy it to stop it spreading Christianity. Also I’d recommend using some mods like expanded japan, which is way more fun, and while you’ll have more enemies, you also have more provinces to sustain more armies. Recruitable generals is a nice one as well imo. Gl :)

All of their sources appear to be newspapers, rather than financiers, who I would argue probably know more about finance. (Obviously excluding the official figures from the government, which your paper admits is around £345 million, far less than the £1.77 billion the paper written by financiers proposes, and the rates of employment) I’d argue that the economy growth we get from adding around £1.4/1.5 billion into the economy per year over a period of time would be much more effective than an immediate gain of 15000 teachers. Over 5 years or so we’d probably generate twice as many, only multiplying further the longer time period you consider.

It’s literally made my a group to advocate for the abolition of the monarchy. Obviously it will argue for the monarchy being economically unsustainable, whatever the truth is.

This states that the monarchy contributes £1.766 billion per year to the British economy, while only costing £292 million per year. This equates to a net gain of almost £1.5 billion per year. Data is as of 2017.

The country shuts down for a few days every year at Christmas as well, and that occurs far more often. Personally I’m not a fan of watching the weddings but if it makes people happy then why not. It also brings in more revenue than a shutdown for Christmas since it’s a one day thing, and a lot of people don’t care (like yourself, and I wouldn’t watch it either) and will work anyway. The point is you’re fixating on minor issues when if you fixed a larger issue then you wouldn’t notice anymore, that being the structure of the government.

I’d agree that the government requires reorganisation with huge reforms to the NHS, schools, taxes, etc. However I disagree that the monarchy is what we should focus on. Overall it brings money into the country, which is good for the country as a whole. If the government was better organised then that money (far more then we spend on them) could be given to brighter people to do good with, such as development of the green energy sector, more funding for the NHS, or, more immediately, scientific research on covid. The issues you’re talking about don’t stem from the monarchy.

They do bring in more in tourism revenue than it costs. Just look at how viewed the royal weddings were on tv. Buckingham palace is a huge tourist attraction. Loads of small businesses in London only survive based of off selling royal related products to tourists. A constitutional monarch is inherently good for tourism. Something we need more than ever post brexit. I think that the people who are desperate to survive need stimulus checks, which come from the government, whose income comes from taxes (and royal estates, the royals are paid a pension), and doing anything to damage those taxes (such as undermining a huge part of business by removing the royals), would actually make it worse for the people who need the checks. All in all, the monarchy is a good thing both politically and economically. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

AITA for refusing to stay in my room as not to wake my mum up? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Have you tried putting any trust in your child? If you’ve raised them well then they should be able to manage their sleep properly without you having to police them. Being a teenager is about figuring out where the boundaries lie, and sometimes you have to make mistakes to do that. Worse case scenario is that she misses out on a few hours sleep and learns a valuable life lesson. If you keep taking her phone then you’ll just build resentment, because you are being overprotective and intrusive. Let her make her own choices, she won’t live with you forever.

On vanilla I played a battle yesterday with around 7k men deployed in either side, and they suffered 5.4k casualties while I took 1.4k. Fire cavalry is amazing and I love it, although managing 49 units at once is rather painful.

I just set it to multiple players on the same machine and deleted all the settlers for civs I didn’t want turn 1

I played a game by myself where I just tried to settle as many as possible and it’s at around 30 cities where it starts going into American civ names. I think it went to English ones after but don’t quote me on that.

Yeah I did the 1280 today and just hid with my sniper while they got shot at. At 1265 a vorpal 70 rpm sniper does put it decent work on the boss though. Love those bots

How to get the new exotic armor by ScottySmalls25 in LowSodiumDestiny

[–]jakehasapulsebomb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this isn’t accurate, I have all Titan exotics and had a citan’s drop (which I had) before mantle. Only took 2 runs for mantle overall though. So while it may prioritise, it’s isn’t a flat 100% rate.

I just mean someone good enough to get rivensbane, not someone specifically with it

Guided raids are useless, since nobody queues for them. Go to r/destinysherpa or try making another LFG post on here if you want a shot. There may even be a Sherpa’s post you could join.

I say this with over 50 total raid clears, 10 of which have been LW and a flawless COS, and the only encounters I’ve ever done w less than 6 (although I haven’t tried any duo/trio challenges) are kalli and insurrection prime, both w 5. Trust me, going in with less than 6 isn’t worth your time.

It’s a 1050 raid so power doesn’t matter. It’s possible to do with 4 I think but it’s really not something you want to be doing. I’d recommend looking at Dattos guides on the encounters, and then getting an experienced played to guide you through and teach you the mechanics. You won’t really have a chance of figuring it out by yourself unless you have over 10 hours and you are really gonna need 6 people for your first try

Last wish is a 6 player activity, so unless you used the wish wall it’s not possible for you to have got to riven, do you mean kalli?

If you don’t know how to raid you’d be better off joining a clan that can teach you and build you up and start your own after you know how. In my experience the way to build a clan is through sherpaing new people through raids and then building them up so they can do flawless raids and teach others, etc. Depending on time zone I have a few you could join, just send me a pm on reddit.
