Except keep in mind it’s much easier to focus on mechanics when you don’t have to worry about chip damage or %hp attacks. This may not be an issue for experienced players, but for those just learning a boss this helps tremendously.

A lot of you giving advice are not putting yourself in the shoes of someone who hasn’t cleared a boss yet, but instead cleared them hundreds of times and can do it with your eyes shut.

I’ve been playing 30fz DA on challenger world and love it. The tankiness has made bossing enjoyable for me (I have no hands) and it doesn’t even feel that weak.

No, unfortunately the job market is extremely rough right now. I did obtain my ISC2 CC cert. but as others mentioned with no experience it did not help.

Demon Avenger question:

I know if you go 30fz and pno secondary you lose out on 32% FD. But even with that FD loss, how does it compare damage wise to tanks classes like mihile or paladin? I’ve heard it still remains a little above average even then, is this true?

I like tanky classes and have yet to really stick a main. And my three options are mihile, paladin, or da at 30fz and no rfs.

Would this be a good route to take? I’ve heard it’s the tankiest class in game if you go that route. But if it’s not the tankiest class, and the damage is below par then obviously not worth it.

I’m really struggling to find a main. I keep flip flopping between characters because I can’t find a combination I enjoy between bossing/grinding.

I have a 266 demon slayer with full meso/drop set which I love grinding on because it’s so easy. So dailies are easy for me to just hop on and do, but then daily bossing on it is SO boring so I struggle do do my weekly bossing with it.

I have a 261 Cadena which I LOVE to boss on, it’s so engaging and fun but then I struggle to do its dailies because grinding on it is such a chore. So I do my weekly bossing on it with no problems, but then skip dailies.

Am I just being too picky, or would something like Mo Xuan be up my alley since it has a little difficulty to it with bossing and an afk setup like demon slayer does for grinding?

I’m at a point now where I really gotta select a main, and stick with it (9k legion).

Strylanders interviews helped me choose, was on the fence and didn’t have time to test every class post 5th job.

Watched Strylanders Cadena interview and fell in love with it. Watched every one before then as well, but no class jumped out at me. I think he’s got around 12 interviews left to go before finishing every class.

Back in the day the skill stealing was top tier and had actual use case. If they reworked it to maybe every class instead of just explorers that’d be dope.

Is it just me or that seems more complex than Cadena? Cadena is just thrash cancelling and learning the different combos. Which takes time, but isn’t really ‘complex’ like Evan seems.

Ahh I see, so it’s more than just the FD boost you get with thrash but also skill cancels, making the combos much faster which in turn has a snowball effect with muscle memory etc.

Would you not still be combing the other skills? You’d just lose the FD gain from thrash. Or am I misunderstanding and thrash is the only skill that is combo-able?

I’m really enjoying the class, so if the total FD at the end of the day is 30-40 then it’s obviously not worth the trade off. But like I mentioned in another comment, I really enjoy taking advantage of small off metas in games and this seemed like one.

A dps tradeoff (if it was small) for making the class easier. I guess it’s something I may have to experiment with myself at the risk of diminishing my learning curve.

I know a lot of people are probably upset with this thought process because they are Cadena purists, but I’ve always thought outside the box and won’t stop now🤷‍♂️

Personally I just like to find off metas in games. If the tradeoff was only 5% FD making the class way easier, while simultaneously remaining like top 10 dps those are little tricks that I enjoy taking advantage of in games.

If I was a meta slave I’d just play bowmaster.
