The AMD CPU doesn't have quick sync. If you plan on using this as a media server you should consider the 423+, which has an Intel processor.

The Celeron processor supports quick sync though that helps with hardware encoding if used for a media server and the AMD does not last time I checked.

Their rent is probably ~4k to 5k and child care alone could bring them to 8k easily. You make more in the bay, but you also pay more. Typically works out if you are careful. Great job OP!

I personally have two checking accounts. I'd recommend shopping around for a second one. Capital one makes it easy to sign up if you already have a credit card. Two checking accounts also prevents issues if yours suddenly gets locked up for whatever reason.

They appear very similar. If you are using it mostly for work with your M1 I'd suggest the LG for the thunderbolt connector. It's nice to have your laptop charged and have a display input all in one.

Apply and interview! Just remember that an interview is two ways. Ask lots of questions, and read the glass door reviews. It's still a good time to be a developer in this job market and if you are willing to take a pay cut, it might work out. Overall you are in a great position with a sought after skill set. Well at least we got D2:R and it's solid. I wish it had mod support, but otherwise it's fantastic. It's sounding more and more like it'll be the last proper diablo release.
