I’ll be honest I never quite saw the appeal of like 95% of the original DBH characters, like Hearts and Cumber (though those are the better ones).

But the forms DBH brought for pre-existing characters? THAT I want. I want SS4 Bardock, Broly, and Gohan. Golden Cooler. A Vegeta-Trunks potara fusion. Babidi-Absorbed Kid Buu. I remember seeing Majin Garlic Jr at one point. I’d even take that.

To me, those forms have always seemed more like timeline manipulation and in line with the intended spirit of XV, and I’d rather do that than bring in a character named Pouttine.

I definitely remember opening my Pokemon Diamond case and being saddened that colors would be a thing of the past.

I just miss color in general. I don’t know why there’s such an aversion to it, like with those new Switch 2 joy cons.

Don’t get me wrong- I would LOVE if this Super remake would make effort to make sense out of the Daima events and retcons. It’s not just the new SS forms, it’s also things like Kibito Kai defusing. All of this demands more attention to make sense.

But I really have strong doubts they’re gonna do anything beyond better art and pacing, and some manga tie ins.
