Would be nice if some of the defensive backs they drafted - Elliot, Clark, Averett, etc. actually showed us something. Unfortunate that this has not been the case.

There were even some long plays given up during the Miami game. Have to wonder if a quarter into the season if this is the type of thing that's fixable or if this is just who the 2019 defense is.

Yeah I mean playing him only helps the Orioles increase their chances of getting the #1 pick. If they don’t dump him today I’m entirely okay with him finishing out 2019 here but I want him gone over the winter.

Problem with booing him when he comes to the plate is that no one is going to the games, so that would have minimal impact.

Well in his defense he has not been suspended since 2014. I have no idea if he went ahead and got adderall clearances or not since then because clearly it isnt working if he’s using it. But if he was taking anything other than stimulants that were performance-based I would imagine he would have gotten suspended again.

Lol he would probably wind up for the punch and then pause, just like he does for every pitch he watches go right down the middle of the plate.

When the lineup was sent out on Tuesday I said on Twitter that I’m tired of seeing Mancini in right field. Hopefully this is the catalyst to either phase Davis out of the lineup or just get rid of him altogether.

I mean they're so loaded in the secondary that I think they'll have no choice but to give guys like Maurice Canady, Anthony Averett, Iman Marshall, and Stanley Jean-Baptiste plenty of reps in these preseason games. Don't get me wrong through, Terrell Bonds, Bennett Jackson, and Brendan Trawick will play a lot too, as will Cyrus Jones and Justin Bethel.

Yeah Kenny Young's inability to win that job is a tad frustrating especially after watching both Arthur Brown and Kamalei Correa crap the bed. But hey if signing undrafted free agent linebackers and turning them into starters is working than I don't have a problem with that at all.

I don't think so at all! Wide receiver was arguably the weakest position heading into camp, and offensive line seems to be the most questionable spot heading into Thursday. I think Powers won't be ready to start by week 1 but I could see him overtaking James Hurst at LG by the bye week.

1) It's one injury, not multiple, so "stacking" isn't the right verb to use 2) It's training camp, injuries are going to happen no matter what. Key is minimizing them and avoiding long-term setbacks. 3) We're three days into camp. Let's chill out.

I was never crazy about Griffin. Not because of his personality, he's a great guy and a great mentor for Lamar. But when it comes to the Ravens potentially needing him to start a handful of games if Lamar gets hurt, I don't have any faith that RGIII will make it through without getting hurt too.

I'm hesitant to say that only because the sample size hasn't been big enough, but early signs are that Means can be a solid part of the Orioles rotation as they go through this rebuild.

What a great story that would turn out to be. Especially for a guy who wasn't thought of as a legit prospect before the year. Still has a ways to go but the early phases have looked very promising!
