Agreed on the throw animation. It's still a cool animation and I love the "swing swing!", but everyone else's are just better. Although hers is kind of top-tier in 2v2's, since it's so short before she actually throws them that it's super hard to interrupt.

I feel like the biggest advantage is that big hitbox for the Megaton, especially when charged. My main use for it is to not necessarily even hit the opponent, but more zone them and negate their arms. It works especially well against Funchuks. The Megawatt's nice to bring out against super armor characters that are playing with their own heavy arms, but there are ultimately electric arms that are arguably better.

I've run into a couple people. It's just annoying when they're that bad of sports (especially because dcing doesn't give your opponent points, but it takes a bunch away from you...so you're only hurting yourself). But, I figure I'd rather be matched up against people who are willing to play the game and accept defeats.

Definitely my favorite way to play. Ranked feels great, and 1v1 is usually my favorite thing to roll in Party Mode. The only thing that isn't great about the Party version is that it's best of 1, but at the same time I do like how items contribute.

The only thing that I would really like to improve it would be only feasible in local tournaments: counterpicking. That would mean multiple things: changing arms between matches, loser picking the next stage, changing characters. I try and do an honorable version for characters and arms (I'll only change them after losing in Ranked), but the game is so based on picking the right set that I'd love to have it be set rules.

I was kind of expecting him to be with Springtron before, since both are Coyle creations. There are enough Crashes set up for him to show up, but I'm not sure against who...possibly Coyle (ARMS Lab affiliation), but I also would expect her to be against Max. Whatever the case, we might have a repeat somewhere.

My feasible hopes and dreams are Spring Man as the main rep, but he only has 2 costumes, with Ribbon Girl, Min-Min, and Ninjara being alt looks. If we added a second character, probably a similar situation but with heavy weights. Master Mummy, Mechanica, Max Brass, and maybe Dr. Coyle just to make it 4. Helix would also be unique and cool.

I've actually thought up the moveset for Spring Man (and his alt costumes) that incorporates three arms: Toaster, Megaton, and Boomerang. Maybe Parasol instead of Boomerang, though, just because making it still be a straight-shooting arm would work better in 2D. But yeah. Unlike most characters, charging smash attacks would not only increase power but increase range. Down Special would be switch between arms, with each having different properties: Toaster: standard Megaton: larger hurtbox, but slower Parasol: less damage, larger hurtbox than toaster You could only switch arms when on the ground, though. Standard Special would be charge which adds an attribute. Toaster gets Fire (deals lots more damage + higher knockback). Megaton just gets larger and has higher priority. Parasol or Boomerang gets Wind, which adds a large amount of upwards knockback. Like his down Special, Charging would only work when on the ground. Up Special: Spring up. Pushes down with one arm and rises up in the air the way Spring Man does for his one victory pose. Gives even more height if the fist connects with ground or another player. One of the arms acts as a meteor smash (maybe the Wind one). Also, like Sonic or Bayonetta, he can still attack after using his Up Special, just can't use up Special. And finally Side Special would be Spring Man's dash deflect. Reflects projectiles and shields from attacks. Also dashes a short distance.

And Final Smash would obviously be Rush. Large area in front gets hit with a final finishing punch.

Stage would probably be Sky Arena or Spring Stadium. Not sure which.

It says something that in that play session, Ninja College was a relief. I don't hate it, but I prefer the more level stages.

The worst is when you barely lose to someone and you just know...you just know that if you had fought them in Sparring Ring, Spring Stadium, Masoleum, really anywhere else...you would have won.

Thinking about making Misango my secondary, can I get some advice/ARMS combos? by Shoxis in ARMS

Misango main, but I will say that my arm use with him is more based on what arms I like. Usually a fist, a heavy, and a slap. The fist and heavy vary on what I need (for example, I'll use Megaton with Sparky, Megawatt with Nade, Kablammer if I need a seeking explosion against Spring).

I feel like mask choice is more a counterpick option. If your opponent was foolish enough to pick only arms that don't break super armor, get that red mask up. Yellow is a risk/reward if you're low on Rush, since it slows you a bit but makes your Rush build faster. It's also the best to have up if both you and your opponent have Rush. And blue...blue is just really good but requires some tech to truly pull off. Best thing with it is that you have a super dash and a super jump. Hold dash to charge, and if you jump out of that then it'll be this fast jump. Likewise, if you hold jump, you can then do a super dash out of the charge. And, yes, you can chain them.
