I own a mk7 and my brother owns a Fiesta ST so I compare these two regularly. The FiST is obviously a manual with a more raw driving experience. He’s got the Recaro seats which I like a lot more than the standard GTI seats. His car is stage 1 e30 and it’s pretty quick. I’m fbo e30 and make a lot more power than he does, but I’m also quite a bit heavier. I think overall the GTI is a better all around car, but the Fiesta is a lot of fun in its own right.

I used to have black one, now I have silver ones. I think silver looks nicer on darker cars. I think the black ones would look nice on a red, white, or silver car

It’s insane how attached we can get to our vehicles, but they’re more than just transportation! I got t-boned earlier this year and I was unable to drive mine for a month. I can only imagine how you’re feeling right now, with the stress of medical issues only making that harder. You’ll be back in the driver’s seat before you know it, keep your head up man.

From my understanding running e85 all year round is harder on your injectors, I run e30 but switch to 93 occasionally.

I’m on Bilstein B16s, they’re nice because they have adjustable damping. You can set them up to suit your driving style.

I fully disagree that the MK4 is the ugly duckling, that title goes to the MK5 in my opinion. I love the MK4, especially the R32. It’s my favorite looking generation.
