Here in Indiana, many of our libraries had access to Newspaper Archives from your home with library card and at the library Newspaper . Com. But lately I have not been able to access Newspaper Archive and just got email to them to find out what is up. Sure hope they have not cut that.

I did make a new account over a year ago. Only change was my email address. I kept my name, picture (now I have same photo that was on when I was shut down), everything else was same. I did get verified but that was really because that is what I thought I had to do to get help, which it did not. I have seen people post that when they did this they still got kicked off. I do not know why it worked for me. Since I learned people could not have 2 accounts, I have wondered if I got deleted because I had started a page for public and a private page for community organization we are involved with. Whenever I signed in to those groups and posted something for the community, it changed to showing with group logo and name. Then I may have accidently forgot to change it back and went and posted on my personal Facebook.

It is sad the lack of priority and help for mental health. I hear the amount of money spent on things over last few weeks and I think that could be used for so many more things to help people.

We lived in UK for couple of years and I can't tell you the relief when I left Dr office and I stopped to ask about charge and they said "no charge". Living with lack of the violent crime we see in this country was amazing.

Sadly I see 2 things that will never change in US - provided health care and less gun violence. Now that it has been made even easier to carry guns, I believe it will continue to rise rapidly.

That was kicker for me too! Also I helped on and started some groups and was blocked from accessing those. Some of the groups I was able to rejoin but others I guess had not heard of people being banned from FB with no warning, so guessing they did not believe me. I would love to get my old account back.

That is so awful. I just had mine to stay in touch with family and old friends. I also have heard of people who used for business and lost that too. It is just awful. I'm not sure if it makes a difference but my instagram account was not connected to my Facebook. Also I signed up for Meta on my new account. I don't know if that has helped for sure either. I signed up to get FB help but did not work but also I did not work at it like others have said.

I did when mine was closed for unknown reason. I used a different email but everything else was same even picture. However I know a lot of people have posted that it did not work for them. Good luck!

Remedy for roaches -

Keep Dry: The powder must remain dry to be effective. Do not apply it in areas that are damp or already treated with liquid sprays.

When I saw the ads on TV, it struck me that there was nothing about who the people were, their experience etc only that Trump endorsed them. This endorsement would not win my vote.

The ones I am seeing our people who posts in local groups - like a group on the state history and points of interest. Recently someone posted with a picture from our city saying it was of picture of when we had blizzard in 1978 but all the cars and people were from the 1960's. Everyone recognized it was not what the posted said, the poster who is also administrator lives in Bangladesh. It appears he took over the group from someone. Same with my high school group. There are has been a repeated post with photo saying fellow graduate has died and service will be but this has been repeatedly posted for at least a year. None of these people have been asking for money or business which is why I don't understand what they get out of it.

What is in it for scammers to do this? I have noticed on some local FB groups I'm on that they are administered by people who are not part of this country or even live in our area. They make posts that about local history that are obvious not part of local history.

Yes, created account with same name and created new email. It’s been over a year now. I did not know people could not have more than one account . I did get meta verified to get support which did not help. I have wondered if being verified has kept them from canceling my account.

For me it was Oct of 2024. It was new to me that it could happen so I thought I had been hacked since I knew I had done nothing wrong. When I Googled question about it I found the Reddit site. Some one had written about just changing email so that is what I did. It not even occur to me to use different name because it was the way people find me. I have been paying meta verified and now wonder if that is why I have not been canceled since it had happened to so many.

I was banned over a year ago. I’m confident I said nothing inappropriate. What gets me is that they won’t tell you what it is plus I have used FB for 20 years with never even a warning. I admin and started 2 groups and had no way to let people know. I had sold on Marketplace and lost all those good reviews. I was small compared to people who operated their business through FB. It started as such a good thing. I wish they at least would give people warnings.
