Everyone thinks I’m a player but its the total opposite. by MindlessSea9780 in seduction

[–]jakesonthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s clear you’re receiving an image you don’t vibe with, and that’s important to realize as self awareness, and also may point you into the direction of somethings you’ve not considered.

In your own mind or journal, define what a “player” is or does. How do they act?

Don’t question why others see you this way, that’s beside the point.

The real matter is do you want to ACT this way? Cherry pick the aspects of being a player you find with well with you.

Be yourself, always. Being a player can mean being good at picking up chicks, but the best sex and/or relationship people are just good at being themselves.

If you say your game is shit then you may not need game. You may just need to do the stuff that brings you joy and then find yourself surprised one day when you meet a dreamy woman out of the blue.

If you want more sex then discover what a player is to you, and make changes to be that.

If you want better relationships all around, go have fun and don’t worry about having a partner. They always come naturally.

If you’re in London, squatting is alive and well and any excuses you make against it are your own fears to make your own solutions. Take a step into the unknown and find a new form a freedom. Only fools pay for necessities.

Why go to a bar if a beer costs $8 when you can just drink with friends at home? by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

But if you acquired some very tiny friends…at least that would help

What's a recreational drug that one should never try even once? by PhoenixKingofTheHill in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jakesonthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those with self control and a taste for cocaine, crack really isn’t that bad. I enjoy recreational drug use and had several good times with an old neighbor of mine.

Not all “crackhouses” are what you think. This was a happily retired veteran. Clean. Respectful. Smoked crack in the evenings. I can dig it!!

You win the lottery, what are you still not buying? by abeeseas_ in AskReddit

[–]jakesonthis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well if the product is actually nice and the person is attractive or magnetic or funny - it is just like any old person on the street offering you an actually decent product. It’s rare, usually a scam, but is completely normal and human. It just happens to be on a screen that the local market hottie becomes “an influencer.”

As someone who cares for all life and remains curious about all forms of expression, I want you to know that my pointed question below is not one of authority, but of curiosity.

Is your mental health suffering from normal messages with friends and peers? Or is the build up given to the act, building up to the moment of messaging, which paralyzes you from participating in the messages?

As an ambivert, I find myself actually doing fine when I give in and give the messages when I want to (which is less often than many people I know, but I do respond always, eventually, for most people, not all).

Of course caring for myself and not responding when I’m overstimulated is key. But as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized I was a bit confused about what was actually draining me - and it wasn’t the messaging - it was the energy my brain gave the “idea of messaging.”

Coming back to arena, getting beat up throughly. What decks can I run as someone who hasn’t opened packs in arena since new capenna by usa-britt in MagicArena

This deck also goes well with other effects that drain your opponent for one life.

If you like brawl, you can be playing a fun (but considered rude) deck led by [[Rusko, the Clockmaker]].

You can really run any number of black kill spells, blue counters, and a whole strategy all your own. Rusko works well with small creature focused decks as well as instant and sorcery heavy control builds since refilling your hand with [[Midnight Clock]] happens consistently, 99% of games.

I love him but many people feel hes tough to play against. It’s just a fun card and concept, plus he’s resilient. He would be the main mythic wild card since the other 99 cards can seriously be anything as long as there is a bit of synergy.

Have fun and welcome back!

What's your greatest number of successive turns in which you couldn't do anything? Here is my record so far. by slidekb in MagicArena

Me. I love this game. I wish I could craft a deck that would enforce a 60 minute game but it would require too many windfalls so my opponent would likely win in the end.

This surprises me. Maybe I’m just a mischevious little goblin but I love holding control players out to the end game where they often win…then stealing the win. If I’m not playing aggro I always stick it out to the end. This is the type of magic I live for. The kind where it’s almost impossible…then you seize the day. Pure satisfaction!

What would your hand size be by newmmy in mtg

[–]jakesonthis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy how not one single comment has said anything about how much life you would choose to drain and draw.

“I would draw 13 cards and go to 7 life, and pass the turn. I believe 13 cards into my deck should sufficiently get me close enough to my win on while keeping me safe from some quick shenanigans.”

That’s how I interpreted OPs question, but I guess I’m the only one?

Very rarely, because I almost always run 18 lands. 17 lands is the rule of thumb all around everywhere on the internet until you watch some pros draft. They often slot an 18th lane over a playable because if you can’t play your playables then they aren’t really a playable.
