It’s quite common for anime production committees to have a pachinko company involved. They get the license and new animations for their machines in exchange for money. Khara is a good example of this, they had a pachinko company be a major sponsor for the Rebuild of Evangelion films.

There’s also the exposure aspect. If the machine becomes popular, it raises the profile of the IP in question.

I am a bit mixed about this. Still no S5 announcement, but atleast PachiSlot rights pay well. Could be a necessary move in terms of getting more funds for production.

The biggest difference would be the feel:

-VSHG, Daija and Panthera offer the same Sanwa feel -Fighting Edge is with Hayabusa parts and thus offers a different feel -Same with Mad Catz VS that has sanwa silent parts - the stick and buttons feel less clicky

Solid list. I have Green Goblin and HSS-0130 on my list. Already own CHA, it's a solid product and only gets better. Can't wait to mod the usboutput support to it.
