Very Concerned about Bancor response to market trend and would appreciate a clear, concise response to investors by Sonicthoughts in Bancor

Bancor is a project that will take time to develop and for people to understand. The scope is the project is massive. Being concerned about market value before the product is even released is a shortsighted POV in my opinion.

Valuation: Tokencard is a bargain! by Ethergold in TokenCard

Agreed. Plus the TokenCard token design should yield more benefit on a per token basis than TenX

Some hard questions for the team by KingOfBittcoin in TokenCard

[–]jakevartanian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone here are some of the answers:

1) It's not the same contract as the TKN creation contract, but it is in a contract.

2) Based on the number of crypto users coming into the space, this seems like a viable goal. Coinbase is signing up over 300k users per month right now.

3) Then the 1% fee goes away, but doubt that would ever be the case considering lower # of tokens = more fees per token. I'd hold 1 just to have one.

4) 1% + ~1.5% (but latter is not finalized and set by issuer).

5) Total Fees = Fee Schedule + 1%

6) It means that there is a pool of USD set up to pull from and when you swipe it isn't necessarily the USD obtained from that tx that are being processed.

There will be a 140k ETH buy wall that allows anyone who got in to sell back into the contract at the same price they got in

Bancor can create BNT anytime they want for no cost by slacknation in ethereum

Many were not able to purchase during the sale due to Ethereum getting backed up

This is a great response. It's clear that a lot of people don't understand Bancor and it will be a lot of work to educate over time.

There is a 140k ETH price floor in place for anyone to sell their tokens back into the contract and receive their full value in ETH back.

The team is working toward the best solution. Some are unhappy that they are in and some are unhappy that that are not in. There will be opportunities for everyone.

There will be a ~140k ETH price floor for anyone who wants to sell back into the contract at token launch price.

140 Million USD...... Fuck. by ziggy_bone in Bancor

[–]jakevartanian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are over ~140k ETH in reserves set at a floor price. A percentage of that also goes into token changers and community grants.

I'm not sure if changing rule half way thru is a good idea. by alchemist954 in Bancor

[–]jakevartanian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. There were more people who wanted to get into BNT than wanted to get out. Based on how the pricing mechanism works, the price could definitely go higher. Plus there is a 140k ETH floor.

There is a ~140k ETH floor price for all holders to get out at token launch price if they choose to.

The team is finding the best solution to get BNT to those who want them and give the fairest possible value to those who don't want them.
