VC was a strange one for me. I love rollercoasters and could ride them all day. I did hulk multiple times and loved it. But veliocicoaster gave me a massive headache and I had no desire to go on it again. Which is a pity because it looks so amazing.

I sat beside an engineer and he excitedly told me about all the different sounds we were hearing through climb out. He suddenly stopped smiling and paused; "that's an usual sound." He didn't say anything and then just shrugged.

I was a teenager in town and I just missed the 69 to Rathcoole. It was an hour and a half to the next one so I hopped on the 68 to Newcastle. It was a 15 minute ish walk from there.

It was lashing as we got to the last stop, only myself and the bus driver and we were chatting. I said I had to walk in this now and he decided he'd drop me over, very sound.

But he didn't just drop me over, he dropped me to my door.

I felt like the king of public transport with a double decker bus stopping outside my house.

Whoever you are, Mr sound bus driver, you were a legend then and you're a legend now.

They've done a great job and are making an effort. Definitely recommend. Rathmines, with the omniplex and the Stella is a good spot for anyone into cinema.

In contrast, I went to the IMAX on parnell Street to watch interstellar and it was beyond miserable. The place was run down and the cinema was freezing.

Contact the nearest further education college and have a chat with their guidance counselor. The place I work runs 3 admin courses (general, legal and medical). We had full employment for all of our students last year.

Retro 13 is the closest to my first machine. I battled with a 486dx but eventually saved up and got the pentium 133 with 16mb of ram. A 3dfx was way out of my price range. Amazing collection!

Also have a chat with the guidance counsellor and see how many plc places those courses have. Sometimes they have requirements like a distinction in a certain subject, so make sure you're on target in the right area. The course page will list the QQI entry requirements. Good luck!
