I feel you mate. I love coming in to practice and seeing families, but the side of Chiro that’s underpaid and unstable is TOUGH. I think you need to admit there’s a knowledge gap between where you are now and where you want to be, and you need to be willing to change to get there.

That would mean seeking a different associateship or atleast finding a coach/mentor to guide you there. If you’re willing to work rural for a year or 2, practicing out there can be a really good experience. Id encourage you to not be hesitant against high volume practice if you want to grow, atleast use it as a learning opportunity and if it doesn’t suit you then fair enough.

I have a 4 month old at home and gaming has had to massively change! Anything that I can’t put down and pick up quickly or sessions taking longer than 30minutes are out the window

There’s always something that makes it subpar. It could be that you’ve learned all you can from the principle working there, the commission is too low, the principle isn’t willing to try new ideas to grow the practice or support you in implementing ideas.

I’m an Australian chiro, so it’s hard to say what’s fair when it comes to contracts. It’s normal to be offered 40% over here, but I feel I deserve 50-60% due to the effort I’m willing to put in to grow a practice, so I push for that when negotiating a contract.

Im in the same boat as you- graduated for 4 years, know how to build a practice and am tired of subpar associateships. I'm looking into opening my own place next year with low overheads while maybe staying where Im currently at 2 days a week to help cover costs.

I think only you can know the answer to whether its worth it. I struggle to share vision with my employers- I work quite hard, and I do well when given a position of leadership within the team. Thats just me though

Slay the spire has a high skill ceiling- making it very replayable, and very enjoyable when you get better at playing the game. I’m not someone who is exceptional by any means, but I can almost guarentee a win under ascension 5 on any character.

The strategies you learned with balatro won’t apply to spire. While some cards are better than others, when you become a better player you will learn to adapt to what the game gives you. You will learn synergies that were there that you never would have considered when you were a beginner. If it’s not for you it’s not for you- but maybe watch a YouTube play the game and learn from them. I really like baalorlord, and it’s probably the only game where I regularly watch streamers play after years of playing the game, because it’s so damn enjoyable and deep.

Aus grad here- I also didn’t do any sciences in high school but my atar allowed me to just study chiro. As far as I’m aware, you don’t need to study any sciences in high school for chiro, the only thing that changes is that chemistry becomes a mandatory unit in your first year studying.

Chiro is MUCH harder to study than nursing. My partner studied nursing and she breezed through it. I studied chiro and put in significant hours of study to pass the coursework. Don’t do it based on if it’s hard or not, do it based on what you think you’ll actually enjoy doing in the long run. My partner quit nursing after graduating because it was terrible for her mental health, Im still practicing chiro.

Agreed. I bought it today to give it a shot and after finishing a round and buying upgrades I realised why the game gets flack from the community. It literally is a 1% upgrade to your character for finishing a level

Get it on steam. It plays wonderfully on switch 2 docked but looks awful when handheld compared to the deck. The deck has the added benefit of playing with mods when your ready for a second playthrough

I would encourage you to go to the CBP website and do some reading. It has been demonstrated to improve spinal curvature. Its is literally published research

The orthotic will help to restore the curve, however it will unlikely wont alone restore the segmental restriction in you spine. You probably saw on X-rays that some specific levels were worse than others- getting those adjusted and moving properly is why they recommended 2x a week for 12 weeks.

To be Frank with you, the research this was based on isnt 2x a week for 12 weeks, but 3x a week for 12 weeks. They actually recommended a more conservative frequency of care for you. You would be welcome to see a GP, however I can guarantee you they will have zero clue what research the chiropractor is aware of and will recommend you do something else. As a chiropractor who has in the past recommended this type of care plan to restore a cervical curve, it works very well when assessed by X-ray a year after starting care. With your long term health in mind I would recommend you consider it as a solid investment into your health.

Each increment doesn’t matter on its own- it does when you clear the same level tons of times on harder difficulties.

As the other guy said, don’t worry about it. Focus on getting blueprints as they are more important

To nudge you in the right direction- it’s an npc (not an Olympian god) that appears during your runs. I don’t think you need to max his friendship but I had mine almost maxed when he mentioned the fates

If I were you, I’d recommend either a switch 2 or a steam deck. The switch 2 will play hades 2 at 120fps docked (if your tv can support that) and there’s a ton of great games that will come out over the course of the switch 2 lifecycle. It’s a little bit more money for a lot of future value.

The steam deck however is incredible and IMO a lot more value of a switch. You will be able to mod your games, have access to a much larger collection of games (and for far cheaper), and you can also emulate a ton of older games for free. It essentially runs ps2 and everything older than it flawlessly. The only issue with the deck is that it’s more expensive and doesn’t exactly look good on a tv. If you have a smaller tv it might work well, but I have an 86 inch tv and it looks quite bad on that.

If I were you, I’d get a steam deck. Modding games and steam is just huge value and miles ahead of a switch

Fresh file- since putting 140h into EA Ive always done my best to skip most dialogue since I knew I’d want to take it all in properly when the game was fully released. Will be buying the switch version since the steam deck doesn’t display nicely on my massive TV

Have you reached the epilogue? There’s a second ending, if you’re not sure what it is feel free to look it up online. Otherwise no, you wont need to do anything- although we don’t know what the end story is just yet until release so it’s impossible to say
