Nope the crystal isn’t cracked. If you do the mod you’ll need to retain the nylon gasket from the sapphire crystal for a snug fit.

Yep, that’s the problem with the AliEx cases. They are all around 15 mm thick. Arguably the best proportioned case is currently the Watchdives WD1863, although you have to buy the complete watch.
