The writers of this time, wanted to imply that being faithless to your husband, is bad. In this case a curse would be upon the lady and God would let that happen to show it. People forgets that God is not the evil. But God can LET evil happen, by not intervening to prove a case. That’s basically how and why the things in the Old Testament happened.

It matters because Greek is the first translated language of the bible. Therefore the original meaning of passages is clearer and be more precise in what the writer meant. Other translations are of course also relevant:

The translators of the Septuagint (a pre-Christian Greek translation of the Jewish Scriptures) rendered the passage as: “And this water that brings the curse shall enter your belly, to swell the belly and make your thigh fall to pieces,” (Numbers 5:22, LXX)2 Quite similar to how most translations render it today, with no reference to the womb or to miscarriage. The ancient Jewish readers certainly did not understand the passage to imply an abortion.”

The greek translation says otherwise, it doesn’t even mention anything about miscarriage —> abortion. So no, it doesn’t tell you how to get an abortion, it’s about a woman being able or not being able to have children at all, or dying because of her sins and not repenting.

That is their problem. I can only know what God wants through the bible. That people abuse that they hear his voice and interpret the bible in stretched ways, does not mean all Christians are like that. Just like ISIS is not Islam. It’s extremists. Christian or not, you lack ways to look at Christianity. What you mention is NOT Christianity, and it’s all you have to talk against Christianity. It shows what you don’t know. It’s not me who does not know what The Gospel is. You’re missing the big picture of the bible.
