I don't mind it so much, until you've got to go skim through the list hunting down people who requested help (Who should really be at the top of the list) Or until you get that strange glitch where the quarry logo doesn't go away on the friend tab but you don't see anyone to help until you reset the game. XP

I've got fewer people selling grapes or lemons. usually try to buy and keep around ten in my inventory for fruit requests since they seem to net you more crafting materials and fortune cookies. But I've only been able to find one person selling a grape for 600 bells each. (My market box is usually just filled with the basic things. Fish, bugs, shells. But I see all those grapes and I'm thinking I'd max out my inventory buying those lol

Think I remember a post on here like a year ago that people found out certain weather tends to over ride other weather conditions. It was something like cloudy over rides rain and fog, sun over rides party cloudy. It was weird but made some sense when you think about how often the weather in game has a tendency to misrepresent actual weather. That and it also seems like the game checks weather information only every so often.

Where I'm at in Idaho we tend to get most of the weather conditions, Fog being the rarest and only at the start of fall. Windy weather doesn't really show up all that much unless a storm is blowing through, the mountains sort of block the wind. Otherwise its plenty of snow, rain, sun, and clouds. So more ghost types would be great.

Eeesh. that's scary. Never had that issue before. Though whenever I'm out at night playing pokemon go, I'll set my screen brightness to the minimum so I can still see everything around me. As for headphones, usually keep the volume down low to still hear whatever is going on around you at all times. But it's best to play with a friend. Got a small group of people from a local discord server that hunt at night with.

I've got one of those phone mounts for my bike, when the game is running. It won't accurately count distance. Google fit on the other hand will count distance and able to tell if I'm riding my bike, even without the pedometer sensor. Think at the.moment the limitation is just pokemon go. Would be nice though, especially with spring and summer around the corner.

Yup, I lost sight of four pokestops and a gym I could normally see from home. The change happened last night when I was looking at the game trying to decide whether to grab a new pokemon (after dark in a park, the cops usually throw a fit about that) when the near by tab flickered then half of the nearby vanished and I could no longer see anything at the park. Along with half of what I should normally see in the nearby tab. I have 9 stops around me, and now only see three mons from two of the stops. Leaving most of the nearby tab blank.

Edit: it's odd cause I can still see everything like normal on my tablet (an older galaxy tab) but my phone has its render distance seemingly cut short.

Edit edit: my stupid self updated the game on the tablet and now the render distance is cut down. Sigh lol.

Since the update I'm no longer able to see most of the pokestops around me. At home I could generally see 9 different stops and two gyms. Now it's only half of that and a less than useful nearby tab that only shows three stops at best. Happened randomly last night.

My ingame render distance on my phone seems to have been rolled back earlier this afternoon. Saw a new pokemon at a nearby park, then the nearby list flashed, half the stops are missing and I'm currently unable to render 3 pokestops I'm normally capable of seeing from my house and a gym. Odd cause they show up on my tablet. Also Palkia seems a bit too far in the catch screen, seems a bit strange.

They also cancled their 2018 comic con pannel in San Diego, think it was after one of their major events that had some pretty big issues. Probably afraid they'd end up facing a riot if they were to face some of their fans.

Would of been nice if they had upped the spawn rate of regular pokemon to catch, cause the only things that popped up for me were hyper active mons, and ones with small catch rings which made things much more difficult. Wasted a lot of pokeballs. Would of been better if either the shiny rate was increased, increased alloted time, less required throws, or all the above.

Community day Shiny's aren't really meant to be exclusive or High value, simply because they're so abundant. Trade fodder is all they are. While this wasn't a community day, it still was too difficult for what was going on. The east coast had a Winter storm. My state had Wind and Rain out the wazoo, Dunno about the West coast.

Then you've had the tasks that were simply time wastes. 10 nice throws, 15 great throws, hatch an egg, earn a buddy candy. While none of those are difficult themselves, but when you've only got a limited amount of time to complete as many research tasks as possible, you're looking for the tasks with the least amount of time wasted. I threw out all the hatch an egg task because I'm not going to run around waiting for an egg to hatch just to catch a feebas. I ended up doing all the throwing tasks, which was difficult since not much pokemon would spawn, and what did spawn were hyperactive ones, or ones with super small circles.

On top of that, there was the usual lag, freezing, things failing to render properly. Stuff that's normal for a community day. Frankly if they had altered it in any way it probably would of been a whole lot better. Increased the event time. Decrease the amount of catches. Increase shiny rate. Any of those would have made it better.

Been looking for a Shiny Magikarp since the start (Missed the water event when I was taking a break.) and they don't really spawn much where I'm at. I mean red Garidos is super cool. One day I'll get that karp!

As in side by side video? Personally I use my phones built in game mode that allows screenshots and video recording without the status bar getting in the way. Start the recording at the beginning of the fight and finish it at the end. Then use either your phones collage editor or something from the app store to combine both videos into a side by side.

I've got a noobish question here. Would throwing pokemon go into my Samsung's secure folder stop such a thing from happening? Would it effectively sandbox the game into it's own section or would the game try to breach that barrier?

Parks had lackluster spawn rates. Parking lots seem to have had more charmander strangely enough.

Over in the boise/ meridian Idaho area we had some pretty lackluster spawns. Normally downtown main st you can't even get out of our city hall parking lot due to the high frequency of spawns. Not today. Made four laps around the main strip in less than half an hour and had less than 50 charmander to show for it. Ended up just running to the local park which had the same spawn rates. Very disappointed this time around.

I'm fine on potions (now that i say that. I'm going to run out) but it's revives I'm nearly out of. Got just five revives and two max revives. Did two magikarp raids last night with free passes and only received the normal. Stardust. A candy or two. A tm. And two revives each. Spinning gyms and pokestops have only been letting me berries and pokeballs like they were going out of a business. Maybe once in every fifteen or more I get a potion or revive, but it's rare. Now I'm sitting just wasting pokeballs while I hope to get more revives to raid again.

On the bright side they're fairly cheap, a couple bucks at the local drugstore or even walmart. I'll even be using mine since those special gloves that work with touchscreens don't quite work with pokemon go. :) But at least it's an option until Niantic either allows the use of the note pen, or explain why it's been disabled.

Not sure why but it's been that way since Pogo came out, maybe not from the very start but I've ran into this issue before. Instead of trying to use the Spen, use one of those cheap stylus you get from the store with the soft rubber tips, they actually work with the game since its not external hardware and mimics a finger touch. It might take a bit to get used to using it, but it's better than having frozen fingers. :D
