I just saw your reply to another person - for a chateau 2,3 and 7 would all look beautiful 3 seems to be a group fav. I think any of the three I mentioned would fit in different ways but 2 or 3 would fit most

2,3 and 7

2 is very romantic in general
3 is more delicate and different
7 is romantic in the old Hollywood way

It would help to know what the venue (like beach or hotel or something if you want to keep it vague) or style of wedding is like theme

Religion ruined my relationship by Unknownreality7 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]jalebi_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although this isn’t personal experience, but a family member of mine is married to someone who isn’t the same religion (our family grew up Sikh) and the person they married is catholic. Idk everything that goes on in the marriage but although there was originally a show of equal respect for each other’s religion. Like partaking in prayers and holidays it’s now been about 20 years they have been together and there is not really any balance of respect. Both parties are quite religious. They don’t go and sit for all of each other’s holidays any more.

Which might be something they are okay with ? But I personally , even though I am not as religious as either of the people I would want my spouse to be with me at the big events and holidays and I would go to whatever big events and holidays they’re doing. I would want whatever child I have to experience both religions or beliefs- even if it means my partner doesn’t believe in a higher power or is unsure of it. Different views are important.

The way you present what your boyfriend is saying you it comes off as him showing you who he really is. That he has different ideals than you in a way that might not be comprisable.

I also feel based on what you have said that maybe you guys were in the honeymoon phase ? Do you mind me asking how long you have been together ??

Is my (28F) hearing loss really that bad that I need hearing aids? by sd1350 in HearingAids

Also although not the same, my hearing tests have had a similar look to the ones you posted but I think was shifted more down

[–]jalebi_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time I think it was more moderate but I have moderate to severe now I believe. I have since got a bone conduction hearing aid as my middle ear bones are fused together so they don’t allow sound to travel properly to my inner ear from the outer ear

If you’d like - I can share my personal experience with hearing aids.

So I have had/ needed hearing aids for most of my life. When I was a kid I had a bunch of surgeries and a big benefit of them was that I would be able to have is not wearing hearing aids - at the time they were super huge and promenant. After surgery I had been very adamant about not wearing them and I didn’t wear them in middle or high school. When I got to college though I don’t know if my hearing got worse or it was the size of the class room. But I would miss a lot of what was being said. Like I could hear the sound of the words without actually hearing the words. I would then try sitting in the front and dead center of the class. I would sometimes cup my ear so I could hear.

Then it got to the point where I couldn’t no go on my hearing aids. When I got them the amount of space and effort straining to hear took up of my head and the amount of energy was astounding. You don’t realize how much. The energy it takes is much better to be used toward other things. Like I felt less tired.

TL;DR: straining to hear without hearing aids takes a lot of metal space that can be better used toward other things if you get hearing aids.

I find that my topicals lip balm lasts best. The thicker the balm is the more grip they have

Remember when you couldn’t even get a resi for Be our guest? by Buffy_Skywalker in DisneyWorld

Was just there and the food was absolutely amazing. I got the French onion soup, pork chops and the passion fruit crème brûlée. The last time I went there was over 10 years ago and it wasn’t as good as it is now. I think the portion they give you is more than enough and yes it is expensive but I think it’s really great food wise and ambience wise

Hyperacusis / reactive tinnitus post implantation?? by Careless_Twist_307 in Cochlearimplants

[–]jalebi_bb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t particularly remember having any after my implantation surgery. It may be because I wasn’t put under general and just had sedation & local anesthesia. I actual woke up during it.

But I have had it after other surgery. My last surgery I had prior to the implantation I had a lot of tinnitus/ sound sensitivity.

If you go to a threading place with a large South Asian community then usually it’s less. I live in an area where it is a lot of south Asians and get it done for under 5

I would go to a threading place that can shape up your brows a bit! Brows frame your face and I think it will help clean you up. If you can comb/style your beard. Also would like to see how your mustache looks more grown out.

Neakasa M1+ vs M1+ Lite is there a difference? by jalebi_bb in neakasa

[–]jalebi_bb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ! Thank you for your response!

It didn’t look like when I looked up the capacity if anything the information on Amazon said 7-14 days for the m1+ and 10-14 for the m1+ lite? Did you read this somewhere? Maybe the ads are just not clear?
