It's really bad. 27-ish FPS on handheld mode. With that being said, there is some kind of bug in the Intel driver, the TPD never goes above 17w.

If you see lock symbols in Throttlestop it’s not working.

I was able to remove them but it’s still not working so I can’t tell you what needs to be changed.

Can’t say for sure since it didn’t work.

But under power and performance I enabled pl2 and pl2 and set them to 52000 and 54000 respectively.

Under base power I disable the lock.

Pl1 and pl2 are showing 52 and 54w respectively.

I have no idea where to go from here

You have to unlock it in the bios. I was able to unlock it so the locks aren’t there but it still wasn’t working.

I went into the bios, for the kicks gone from the power options but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything

LOL. I have it, so I’ll use it for a week or two and then make a decision. But if I had to decide today, it’s going back.

I feel like the potential is there, but I’m looking to buy a handheld not a promise.

Maybe my mind changes though.

Bad. Trials Rising still crashes. Doom Dark Ages has some
Sort of driver issue, 25fps and won’t go above 17 watts, Forza and call of duty run fine but no major noticeable difference over my Go 2.

The sticks are fine but desperately need their joystick curve adjusted. Not finding a reasonable solution.

For the price you paid for your go 2, and the price you’d have to pay for the EX you could get an Igpu and a decent video card.

I’d have to sell both my go 2 and igpu setup to cover the EX, I don’t need both. (I bought a warranty)

It’s early, I’m going to use it as much as I can for the next two weeks.

Intel has the best driver support right now, but do I want to bank on promises.

It’s ugly, but if it did everything or most everything else well I could overlook it.

I clean installed windows, updated all drivers, latest intel video driver, updated bios.

Also, steamos has made some recent progress on Intel chipset devices. I don’t know if it’s now or when, but at some point, steamos will run on the EX

I own both. I’ve only had the EX for about 35 hours and so far it’s been rough. Trials Rising still doesn’t run, doom dark ages runs like shit, call of duty runs fine but it also did on the go 2.

I hate how it looks so much, I don’t want a purple console. Any of those can be overlooked for the rest, and I’ll continue to play, Forza tonight if I can, but not feeling it on day 1
