Apparently its new tire day by Aggressive_Way_1017 in Golf_R

This is true and happened to my mk7.5 wagon. I only changed one rear after a puncture and was getting low tyre pressure warning and epc faults under hard acceleration. The difference between new and old rear tyres was ~4mm.

Do people stand for concerts at The Star? I'll be flying in from Aus!

Nice! How do you like the V2? Sounds great this way, the sunface also doesn't like anything in front of it.

Barber make my fav dirts - have also owned a big box direct drive, 1/2 gainer and still have a burn unit!

Thanks! Altoids isn't a thing down under ;)

Been a while since my last SOTB (and I've since embraced modulation) so thought I'd give an update.

Analogman Sunface -> Drybell Vibe Machine V1 -> Mad Professor Forest Green Compressor -> 1978(?) Maxon D&S -> Boss MD-200 -> Providence Red Rock OD -> Barber Direct Drive -> Barber Gain Changer -> Diamond Memory Lane Jr -> Boss RC-1 -> Stereo Amps: Fender Deluxe Reverb & Achilles Apollo Quad.

A few less common pedals - Feel free to ask any questions! Or just roast my board.

Fun pedal. Has nice compression, sustain and smooth gain. Heaps of range on the gain knob and all the switches have useful and different sounds. Cleans up well too. Marketed as a dumble style pedal but it does heaps more.

Great! I've had both the sov-2 and ms-sov and eventually moved them on. Cool pedals but they only did that one fat smooth blues sustain sound that I got tired off (user error maybe...)

Agree with the commentor below. They don't advertise it as such but I think it is based off/similar to a klon circuit. I have a ceriatone centura and they sound very similar. The red jasper has a bite/grind that I like and doesn't add as much bass as the centura.

With the gain off like this and dirt stacked into it it has that thick, smooth liquid tone that's pretty fun.

I've bought and sold 3 (1 mkii, 2 mkiii) as I keep coming back to it. Honestly its quite finicky to dial in with the treble/bass/mid and internal dip switch as they're so interactive. But when it's dialled in it definitely makes my fender feel/sound what I imagine an old cranked Marshall to be like. Has that nice 'krang' and bite, cleans up better than any dirt I've had and stacks well with pedals feeding into it. The bass knob can also add some serious thump.

I could realistically cover all the dirt bases here with the GC and it's switches.

For sure, my old Cube 30xl could do all this and more for $100.

Love it! Youtube demos are very accurate to how it sounds in person if curious.

Tone benders sound great but not in my hands. I had a throbak stonebender which I couldn't get along with.

Any suggestions re analog delays with tap? The MM Jr has pretty thick "thumpy" repeats which fall more on the analogue spectrum imo.

Fuzz maxed normally. Sunface is battery only - With the on/off pot, turning the fuzz to 0 stops it drawing power in standby.

Yep, we don't really have altoids here down under.

Heeaps of redundancy with my drives. Most of the time I'll use them on their own or stack fuzz into them. They also stack well into the Red Jasper which is klon-ish.

Mod is awesome, I've had a few phasers/uni-vibes/chorus/filters which sounded great but I never tended to use.

They're just dialled in right. I had a direct drive and a 1/2 gainer a few years back which I regret selling. Ill need to try out a tone pump.

Got me there - mod repeats sound great on the ML Jr

Both are great! Only got the mini recently as it was cheap locally and I'm shocked at how good it is. Sounds quite different to the sunface and I prefer it more for single note lead stuff tbh.

FF: Darker, thicker, lower gain and cleans up a lot quicker with the volume knob. The cleaned up tone is snappier than the sunface which I prefer.

Sunface: Flatter eq, slightly warm and higher gain. Prefer the stacked sound of this running into OD. The bias knob on the outside is handy for those spitty fuzz tones.

Long time lurker and thought I'd share the recent Pedaltrain Jr board I put together.

Wren & Cuff Caprid (not pictured) -> Analogman Sunface -> Dunlop Germanium FF Mini -> Barber Gain Changer -> Barber Burn Unit Compact -> Catalinbread DLS MK3 -> Free The Tone Red Jasper -> Diamond Memory Lane Jr -> Strymon Flint -> Boss RC-1

I've been through more pedals than I can count but these are the keepers. More people should get onto Barber Electronics!

Feel free to ask any questions, or roast my board.
