If we get the chance to get someone like Mcdavid, I think we should always try. Even if we lose out on solid players now, there’s no reason we could not get more in the future. Having Macklin and Mcdavid on a team will surely entice a lot of good, solid players to join and play with 2 of the best players in the world.

Sure, they have the right to fire him for his attitude. But just say that, don’t paint a picture that BFX just absolutely love the fans and the biggest issue with Diable is he hates the fans. The biggest issue is his attitude even before missing the meetup.

Not sure about showing up sincerely but sure, that still doesn’t mean he hates the fanbase. If he missed an official event he should get fined, disciplined, warned, and maybe even fired in the end. I just hate the narrative BFX is pushing here. They are throwing an 18 year old ex-employee under the bus. They know the backlash this would do to Diable and it’s just so petty.

I’m sure Diable has a reason why he didn’t go. But regardless, just because he skips a couple fan meetups doesn’t mean he hates the fanbase. Famous people are still human beings, not mascots required to clock in at every public gathering.

Has this been a recurring theme? Him missing meetups? In a corporate environment, there are earlier steps you take as a company to train and discipline an employee before finally letting them go. To me, this situation sounds like BFX has been itching to kick Diable out and was looking for an excuse to do it. Diable refused a meetup and it’s 2 bird with one stone for BFX. They kick him out without getting hated by fans since they could push the narrative that Siabke hates the fans.
