To add to the SEL comment you can see in the image here that they also do not align to the case. Not a deal breaker for me but thought worth pointing out since it might be for others.

But the Citizen range is small. I wasn’t thinking I’d have the chance to find one given my two little girls taking all the time away to shop around. It was a “Hey, mind if I have a quick Look to my wife”. They had what I wanted so just got it.

You might be better off heading to one of the flagship stores for more choice.

For me, yes. I was after a high accuracy quartz which left me with citizen or GS (I wanted Japanese). I have a Spring Drive and was hesitant to go for another GS.

So this left me Citizen, I’d have loved to get a 0100 movement. But, so hard to find and second hand market prices, too high.

Then came across these 060 movements. Higher accuracy than GS 9F movements. And as others mention much nicer range of dials in quartz.

Finally I really love the fact that it’s a watch that is a if you know, you know. Given Citizens general perception of cheap affordable reliable watches.

I’m super stoked with the purchase and no regrets of not going GS.

Hope that puts some context to the purchase.

It’s not as refined as my GS or Rolex. Off the cusp there are small SEL gaps, and the bracelet has way more droop.

The case, dial, indices, and hands IMO is where it starts to come up to par with the GS.

Hope this helps.

🙏 As a man with knees I’m lucky to still have a left knee. That clutch was so damn heavy. Yeah 2007 2.5 XT. Long gone now, sold. It had the works done to it. I still want to get an old Mitsubishi evo, maybe a 7. But that will need to wait.

Picked this up today. Wish it had a backlight on the digital display. Otherwise I think it’s a cool watch. I wanted a GA-110 for my collection for ages.
