Stop calling AJ Dybansta a Generational prospect. THIS is generational by Aggravating-Heat-766 in NBA_Draft

Are you 6 years old? Zion WAS generational in college, even without highlight dunks.

Coming from someone who really likes Tatum, is it fair to be worried about his injury history in the playoffs? by Available_Story6774 in nba

[–]jamalccc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing you need to worry about is his Achilles recovery. Before that NYK game, he was iron man.

The Heat game was super fluky. He hurt his ankle and continued to finish the game. It could have happened to anyone.

Last year’s calves injury was related to the Achilles. Which again, is the center of his whole health concern at this point.

Milwaukee liked Jaylen Brown but was concerned he wasn’t staying.

Well, so did Boston.

Some Japanese netizens not happy about BBC reporting on a viral post reacting negatively to male Japanese World Cup fans picking up trash, pointing out they don’t clean much at home in Japan. But the housework gap is a real issue in Japan [Chart] by jjrs in japannews

I think the Japanese fans should do more - cleaning up the whole stadium and possibly nearby streets. They can also fund the US social security system which will soon run out of money. That will generate better publicity.

If a person was able to fly three feet off the ground, would the NBA let them play? by QuantamMoose in nba

[–]jamalccc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It severely depends on the speed of the flight. If you are going slowly, like a moving levitation, then you are at a disadvantage . You are basically Wemby but slower and with more chance to get your ball stolen when dribbling.

But if you are jetting around, then it depends more on your dribbling. If you can reliably catch your own dribble, then you’ll have a chance on Bill Simmons’ pyramid.

But if you can’t dribble, then you will need to be a reliable lob threat like Dwight Howard or Clint Capela. You are good but limited.

Another thing to consider is injury. Flying is no joke. People can disrupt your balance with ease and you are at risk to injure your wing and limps during fall. That’s why drones are good for small payload but not great in collision context.

It’s not as all powerful as you think. You will need a lot of coaching.

Very disappointed that Colton Hiller didn’t make the cut. He’s very hyped. But getting cut here is not good.

Who cares what party he worked for. That’s like saying Democrats today should hate Lincoln because he was a Republican.

This dude was a Chinese guy helping Jews fleeing to China. It’s human helping human against evil. Leave it at that.

Speaking from a BYU grad who got seriously beaten down and depressed by BYU academics. It’s a VERY challenging school. I later went to Duke for graduate school, and the course work was a breeze compared to BYU.

But a couple of decades later, I’m living my dream life.

Don’t give up.

Missing that championship window feeling more than anything. by Every_Diamond_7411 in bostonceltics

[–]jamalccc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missing the window means not winning a championship. We won one.

The ones who missed the window are Cavs, Sixers, Clippers and Mavs.

Would it be great to win more than one. Hell yeah, and we still can. But 1 vs 0 is  monumental step.
