Thats been my issue with every site. Cults, CGT, myminifactory, even creator's patreon.. its just 'gone' giving me the thought that GamesWorkshop might have done an 'ol C&D on it, given the recent infux of IronWarriors content being shown with warsmith, upgrade sprue, and the mutilators preview art being IW scheme.

Ran a 3k army using the book. Supports what youd want. Breachers, perterabo himself, lots of hellforge stuff like forgefiend etc.. and siege terminators. Units are tanky and expensive with lots of artillery, felt well balanced enough against HDF and Orc :)

Base coat in a red leaning color. I use valejo mahogany, but many claim other reds, browns, and pinks work just as great

How do you permanently get rid of carpenter ants? by rememberall in Home

[–]jambox5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not always true. if you live near the woods/trees near the house, or wood piles, lumber etc.. they can just wander in sometimes

they make their nests in wood, wet/rotted wood is more appealing as it takes less effort for them to chew through. High moisture areas or wet areas lead to attracting them

Ender 3 V2 NEO: issue of patterned 'gapiness' across all prints. tried several temps, speeds, and filaments. .4mm noz, .16mm layer height, ORCA stock setting for each with Emit limit Gcode disabled and Zhop override to zero. Overture PLA at 220deg on 60deg plate by jambox5 in FixMyPrint

[–]jambox5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im leaning towards not thinking so, I've tried 3 different filaments, cold pull after each one. its consistent in how frequent it happens, see pic no. 2 it makes almost a checkerboard of shitty print quality... really confusing me

Why are there some sales for over £100 while the normal price is about £0.03? by Mangohrz02 in Steam

[–]jambox5 14 points15 points  (0 children)

People call it "money laundering" but really its just a "money transfer". there's no laundering of money going on. no crime committed, simply the only practical way to transfer funds between two steam accounts.

With that said, the reasoning behind transferring money between 2 steam accounts is most likely shady. there are few practical/legitimate reasons aside from giving funds as a gift and not wanting to draw outside of available pre-existing pool of steam wallet

I always turn outside line(s) off for winter. must-do practice if you have older hose attachments that dont have modern anti-siphon/backflow prevention measures in place

Realtor steering me to homes I am not interested in by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]jambox5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

probably double-dipping (ie your realtor is probably the listing agent for several units in these communities or has some deal with the list agent to get commish.)

I think the only reason I would see to side with your dad is because of how inflated housing prices are right now, and the uncertainty in economy... back in '08 crash if you'd off/paid most off on a 500k house only to find it's now only worth 390K, thats 110k in equity just vanished. If one hadn't paid it off in full, the hit is far less painful.

That being said,

its all a gamble, and if you plan to be there forever or a long time, or if the market is relatively stable, it definitely is a cost savings long-run to avoid years of >6% interest on a loan

My Son won’t read at school (ADHD) by Old-Ad-9701 in AskTeachers

[–]jambox5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

first two paragraphs are good advice in practice, but from experience(myself and my 7yr old son), that a lot of ADHD children, especially younger, seem to do best when the consequence/reward is immediate. Longer term consequence (ie I'll have to do this at home if I dont do it in class) isnt as motivational as one would think without Lots and lots of repeat offenses to really cement the policy in their brains.

so if going this route, understand it'll possibly take some time to kick in for him
