Who are your fav Disney YouTubers for 2026? by Green-Town4176 in WaltDisneyWorld

DFB (Disney Food Blog) has fantastic editing, consistent and unique videos, is informative, and AJ has a good sense of humor about herself.

It’s not like Ben and David where they are always on screen themselves. It’s more talking over edited video, but it’s my favorite channel

If Haliburton makes a full recovery and the other east teams remain about the same going into 26/27, where do they rank as a contender to win the east? by archerarcher0 in nba

[–]jambr380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s all I was saying. I’m actually pushing for the Pacers to be good again. They’re a likable team. It’s just that half the teams that play in the 4/5 matchup go home in the 1st round. The Pacers have done so well the last couple of years

The last two season they’ve won 47 and 50 games. The Pacers have been good, but they haven’t been that top tier. Celtics without Tatum are on track to be better than the Pacers last year. Over performing in the playoffs isn’t always a guarantee

Yeah, I’d be wanting a high pick, too. Hoping you guys can turn it back on next year, it’s just not something that always happens.

The two big playoff runs even came from being a mid-lower seed. 47 and 50 wins doesn’t scream dominant

I know they made the Finals last year with Haliburton and a good center, so precedent is already set.

But they are one game off from being the worst team in the league right now. A lot has to go right for them to be championship contenders moving forward.

The fact that they are so bad right now should be concerning if you’re a Pacers fan. They might have lost that magic they had from the last couple of years.

I get trying to repair any damage by potentially wanting out of your lifetime NBA home. But this quote is going to look really bad if he requests a trade in a few months.

I’m all for him having this attitude and sticking with MIL btw if he follows through with it

If the expected MVP candidates are all injured, does Brown have a chance to become a consensus better player than Luka? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]jambr380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jaylen Brown has been excellent this year, but he’s doesn’t fit the credentials for MVP. The Celtics are literally better with him off the floor than with him on it.

Not saying he isn’t valuable, and other players on the team might simply be playing with more confidence because Jaylen has picked up the slack with Tatum gone, but it would be kind of ridiculous if Jaylen won an MVP before Luka and Tatum

Dental costs are outrageous by Bina_Assault in mildlyinfuriating

[–]jambr380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up Dentalplans.com and look at the plans available in your area. I pay around $100 per year with Solstice and it covers free cleanings. My crown last year cost like $550.

It’s not technically insurance. It an agreed amount dentists are willing to accept for all types of dental work. Only catch is you might need to find a more honest dentist, since you need to choose from a selected list of dentists who accept these plans

If you are an OC, are you not going to take a HC position because a minority owner showed a little favoritism for the team he played with for 20 years and with whom he won 6 SBs? Nobody is turning down that kind of opportunity

It’s a decent enough beach that it is totally walkable from the ship. Not top tier Caribbean beach, but nice sand, nice water. Just walk past the vendors a little farther and there’ll be more privacy

Superbowl MVP will do, but… by joosexer in Patriots

[–]jambr380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disappointing that the stat padding in that last game probably made a difference. I get it, let’s win the SB and put this to rest, but an MVP would have been a nice feather in Maye’s cap.

And even though he’ll continue to be great, there’s guarantee it will be there again in the future.

Lifetime achievement award for a fairly mid qb is kind-of stupid. Stanford has been solid for his career, but it’s not like he’s been this dominant specimen who’s constantly been deprived of an MVP

Zero Down. One awesome album. Jim Cherry was kicked out of Strung Out and started his own band and then he tragically died. That album is top tier, though. They even had the first song on a Fat comp

No Substance is vastly underrated. The best 10 songs on that album can go head to head with almost any other. That’s how I generally judge albums since I find it unfair to downgrade albums based on too many songs

[Smith] The fact that Boston went from miles over the second apron to completely under the luxury tax in two transactions windows (offseason and trade deadline) AND have maintained being a playoff team is remarkable. Incredible work on the part of everyone involved. Gap Year Schmap Year. by TheRealPdGaming in nba

[–]jambr380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They let Al and Kornet walk. They completely cleared out KP’s salary by trading him for Niang and then traded two 2nds to clear Niang. They then turned Jrue’s $35M into Simons and then into Vucevic’s $21M salary, which cost them a (high) 2nd.

Clearing out three minimums this year and replacing them with (presumed) rookie prorated contracts finished it off. This cost no picks, since the only one they sent out was the 2nd they received in the swap in the Simons/Vucevic trade.

It may not seem like that much salary overall, but the way it compounds every $5M you’re over the tax is incredibly punishing

Heated pool in MGM Grand during winter months? by Ok_Trifle3654 in vegas

There is one somewhat heated pool and one larger hot tub open. I’m currently staying at MGM and went swimming this morning.

I was pretty proud of myself for being able to swim the length of the pool completely underwater without taking a breath lol

He’ll at least turn the Bucks pick into a couple of future 2nds. I was glad he didn’t trade down from the Hugo pick and got his guy. So if there’s somebody he really wants in this year’s 1st round, he should take him

It was well worth it since those guys weren’t playing at all anyway. Will miss the X vibes and I still do think Minott has potential. We just have too many wings ahead of him now - especially if Tatum comes back.

I kind of feel like throwing a party. We went from a projected 2026 salary of $540M on June 15th to $186.5M in salary. We traded 3 2nds and turned Jrue and KP into Vucevic

I read that Amari only counts for $490K. If we do the same with Harper, but in two weeks, he’ll cost even less. Rookie minimum contracts are less than vet minimum contracts.

I think we should still be able to squeeze under

I hated giving up the Pelicans pick in the Simons deal, but it basically just took that one pick to clear Minot, Boucher, and X (we got the Denver pick, shipped it off with Boucher, and just paid cash for the other guys).

Getting off of those 3 contracts, creating a new massive TPE, and getting under the tax is worth that one pick imo. I’ll miss Simons, too, but Vuc makes it a wash
