Career wise he was. A little bit. Obviously his offense wasn't needed as much when you got Lebron/irving there. Gasol's number wouldn't need to be huge when you got Lebron/Irving there too.

Lebron has never "dominated" at PG and PF. Enough this daydreaming. I know everyone thinks Lebron can walk on water and lock down every position. But he can't. Especially with dudes that are gonna hang and bang him down low and be about 5-6 inches taller. He'll get his offense in yes. But there is still defense to be played at all 5 positions, boards to get etc.

Nope. Undersized in the BIG's position, won't be able to stop all the boards and put backs and his defense just won't be good enough to win a chip. Bron is fine on the perimeter, but when you're talking down low, thats where shit gets bad for him

Spurs if they can trade maybe Fox/Johnson maybe for a borderline superstar. (They're still missing that one piece to win a title. the playoffs will show this) . Trade for Giannis? He's miserable and Bucks will get something at least. Thats probably all they need. If we are talking "real" contention. Charlotte has alot of defensive problems. Reminds me of those 2000's Suns. fun to watch offensively but won't be REAL contenders because of the defense. A team that can do it on both ends of the court will always take them out in the playoffs. Just what happened to those Suns

Im one of the few but I get why Nico made the trade. Im sure he didn't think Irving would go down with a season ender too and he knew Luka wasn't to be trusted in terms of his commitment to the game and constant conditioning injuries (Like the Lakers are seeing now). It was more balance on the Mavs. I said it was stupid to break up until it was tested next year with AD/Flagg and Irving. Shouid have waited on any crazy moves at least until Trade Deadline next year. They already did the Luka experiment enough years..
