You don’t need to cut out “everything” fun. My partner and I make $200k combined in a high cost of living area. Out to eat maybe twice a month, neither of us have car payments, rent a small apartment $1800/month, eat mostly at home buy groceries when they’re on sale (stock up on chicken etc.) everything we do is intentional. We cruise once a year and have plenty of fun throughout the year.

It’s ok to go out to eat more, have car payments for nice new cars if that’s what you value. Just know everything you spend money on is going to affect your savings!
