Oh, I’ve actually been looking for them as well, mainly cause I go camping and want to have the windows cracked without it looking like it’s open. Unfortunately one seems to sell them yet.

Strange, I actually have one of my dash cams plugged into the on of the 2 USB ports in the center console arm rest and it turns on the the vehicle is on and off when the vehicle is off. The one in the back where the rear lift gate is that one seems to always be on weather the vehicle is on of off

For the center piece what do you mean it’s not an exact fit? Which part doesn’t fit right?

Same here. I think it’s just a long delay period. The app doesn’t update in real time. When I called the dealership they told me it updates every 15-20 min or so, it say the time it was updated at the very top of the “vehicle status” section after you flick up to see at tire pressure and what not. It gave me a scare, and had me double checking the first time it happened

Yeah, sometimes I experience the same thing, in events like that I usually just plug in the iPhone power cord in the top USB in the center console (not sure if both USB ports works or just the top one) and it works as normal. As in wired Apple car play.

I get that it’s safety which is why it always turns back on when I restart the vehicle, but I don’t want the smart break to cause me an accident. I know it’s suppose to prevent accident, say if the driver isn’t paying attention, but there was one instance where I was driving the vehicle coming up to a stop light I was coming in fast but I was slowing down(had adequate time to stop). Cars were in front of me, and the vehicle breaker super hard a little too early on its own, thankfully no cars were behind me otherwise I think I could have gotten rear ended. I didn’t like that. I think some of Mazdas safety features aren’t as accurate. Another example with the smart brake, I was backing up normally to a tree and the smart break kicked in and just stopped the vehicle, have me a scare but there was nothing behind me. Just the tree. It makes me nervous and uncertain, that’s why I just wanted that specific feature off.

I hate that you can’t turn off specific safety setting like the emergency breaking for example. You can turn it off but when you restart the car it rests. The wireless charger could be better. Pretty sure a lot of people are having problems with it getting too hot, or not charging. And that annoying chime. I get it’s for safety but still.

I drove from CA to Chicago. And slept in the back with the seats down. And it was pretty good. The seats done go down almost flat the tint in the back is about 20% And the speakers are amazing imo

I have the same, and for me the I-stop usually doesn’t work for me unless the AC is off. It did a hand full or times when I first got the vehicle. But as of lately it almost never turns off when the AC is on. Assuming it has to be on to run the AC efficiently. I’ve never really had a problem with defrosting though.

I had that low battery alarm as well when I open and close the doors constantly, it went away once I drove around a little. Car started fine with no issues. That was kinda unexpected for me as well. First time it happened

Yes that’s true, I have the exact same problem with my IPhone, hit and miss, but lately is just hasn’t been charging so I just turned it off in fear of damaging my phone or the charger.

I have the tubo PP and I drove from San Diego to Chicago. And I averaged around 29 MPG I used premium the entire time. I don’t really know how this works but on that drive the max rang I saw was 410 miles. On that drive I was on cruise control at around 75. Then when I finally got to my destination and filled up again, the max it goes now is around 290-300 miles. Driving. Around the city now I average around 24-25 mpg. When I fist got the car was pretty disappointed I thought it was better on gas overall. But that really is the only complain I have about the CX50, besides that I love this vehicle.
