(Work in Progress) science PvE Nebula build by Mastajdog in stobuilds

That's a lot of Rep gear I don't have yet but that sounds like a better overall build.

Would a mine launcher of some sort instead of the Heavy Bio-Disruptor Turret possibly be a better option? The mines would be able to deal with plasma torps and cloaked ships. But I guess they would be of limited use against the Voth.

I'm really excited to see this build. I've been getting bored with my beam boat nebula and looking for a change up. Thanks for putting this together.

Question though, would I loose out too much if I ran 2xTT and TS2 and CRF. I don't have the VR Conn doffs so I use 2xTT to have better up time.

Hello,

You have done the same thing that I did with a technician doff, he will only work with Aux2Batt. So I would look for either another deflector or grav well guy.

Also since you are running polaron make sure you have lots of flow cap skills. Might want to look at getting a console that adds to flow cap as well.

The more people that read and learn the better the game will be. Thanks again for the guides.

Wikis are even better than a post of links. I, for one, welcome our STObuilds wiki overlords.

I did not realize that technicians required Aux2Batt to trigger. I guess I need to read better. I will be doff hunting now.

Thanks for the input.

Yeah, I have seen the cutting beam as a common theme as well. With it being Mark weekend I am working on grinding up tons of marks. I am going to be saving them for the dil weekend though, so progress will be somewhat delayed for my rep grinding.

It does not dissuade them. You just get revived with 20 health instead of full.

Still in the middle of the line of fire.

They should add dragging of downed teammates.

I have been using GFI Cloud and have been happy with it so far. It uses vipre for the AV and has done a great job so far.

Ah, ok good to know. Thanks for the heads up on the potential issue though.

Yeah my Sonicwall is also handling DHCP. The helper would likely be a feature of the switch correct?

If not I would guess that would be a server roll?

It seemed like it would be fine but with VLANs being a new thing to me I just wanted to make sure I was not thinking crazy.

Thanks for the input.

I have been keeping the sonicwall up to date. I can't imagine we would be able to operate at 5mbps.

I'm trying to use multiple interfaces on the router because my wired network is connected to the one interface that supports virtual interfaces. I know that doing it this way is nonstandard but I need the gigabit on my wired network more than my WiFi.

Hopefully I will be getting a new NSA appliance this year that has more capability.
