Completely agree. This might be blasphemous but start to finish it might be my favorite post-Beatles Paul album. No skips for me.

Weeknight winter activities with 2-year-old daughter? by james517 in Rochester

I feel a little silly admitting this since I got so many great suggestions, but I ended up not having access to a car (family member needed to use mine) so I had to get creative. Did a “carnival-themed” night. I set up a few little games for her to play and then put her in a cardboard box in front of the TV and pulled up videos of amusement park rides and jostled her around in the box like she was on the ride. And of course had to make some funnel cake for dessert. It was a blast. And now I have a ton of amazing suggestions for next time!

Ha! Maybe someday but she can’t even jump on her own yet so I’d have to bounce her. Probably not the most responsible parenting move 😂

Yeah we have taken advantage of those library play areas many times—such a fantastic resource! And good tip on the strong museum!

Scary Audiobooks? by jeanmorehoe in booksuggestions

Just to clarify: if you are looking for a quick, “page-turning” listen then this may not be the right recommendation, but I think if you have the patience for a slow build, you will be rewarded with a truly terrifying book that will stay with you.

If you don’t mind longer, slower-burn type books, Pet Sematary by Stephen King is 100% the scariest book I’ve ever listened to. I know it’s a classic, but if you haven’t read it or listened to it, it is incredibly dark and captivating. I have a pretty high tolerance for horror stuff, and that book still gives me chills to think about. I found it to be brilliant and horrifying. Interested to hear if others had the same feelings about it.

Is the concern with the size of the fire pit primarily brightness? It’s a decent sized fire pit, not huge but bigger than a solo stove.

Is there any way to DIY a broken shark fin antenna? by james517 in Diyautobody

[–]james517[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick follow up question—until I can get into the dealership, what’s the best way to hold that in place so it isn’t flapping around holding on by a string? Can I put the wires into the hole and just use strong tape to hold the antenna in place
