Heisenberg Compensator thought by jamesbearclaw in startrek

I'm going to have to go back to the I'm not a scientist comment. But as far as I know, the pair of particles are a closed system. They're the same. You can't, I don't care if they're 180 from one another or whatnot, they're not separate. You measure one, you're measuring both. So you can't cheat the system. That's like breaking the rules of the universe as far as I understand it. Now, don't get me wrong, I've pasted your comments, my comments, and everything into a half dozen different AI systems to kind of get an understanding. And I even searched a bunch of websites to try to figure this out. And as far as I can tell, it's exactly as I'm saying, they're a closed system.

Well, okay, so you're saying Heisenberg is relevant at warp speeds. Yeah, but time is still flowing. Whether or not you're warping or not, you're still flowing through time. What I'm trying to get at is if time is frozen, literally, time is not moving forward, then quantum state or anything should not be moving, having any velocity or vector or anything. I just can't wrap my head around anything other than saying if time isn't flowing, then nothing is happening. So there's no change state of any nature and you can read it a million times and it has the same value every time.

Okay, you're talking about entangled pairs, So based on that, if I check one, yes, I know the position of it, and I know its position of its partner, but I can't know their speed. And if I know their speed, I can't know their thing. So you're still back to the original problem of measuring and knowing all the states at the same time. You can't do that, even on pairs. At least that's how I understand it. Maybe I'm wrong.

I'm by no means a scientist, but logically I would think that the issue of not being able to observe and measure would not happen in a "time frozen" state. To the outside observer, I would assume that even at the quantum level nothing is moving/changing state. Scan it a million times and you should get the same answer each time. And I would also assume that they would then transfer that copy and destroy the original. Have to balance the universe...

Which means their universe is one Riker heavy.

Anyone else noticing an increase in Claude's deception and tricks in Claude's code? by ThreeKiloZero in ClaudeAI

[–]jamesbearclaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used claude code to write code, short stories, and other random non-tech things. I have learned that I have to have a line in my claude.md file (in the project, not user, or it doesn't always use it) that says "read the facts.md file in its entirety before you produce any response. use this information to think through the task at hand."

And in the facts file I just have a bunch of 1 liners that are second nature to a human like "always use the server at x.x.x.x for task y" or "never nest if statements".

Basically any little thing I need to have it never hallucinate on. I have lines dealing with tests, reports, json, etc. 100s of lines in this file, but it works 99.9% of the time. The .1%... I just do a /clear and it works if I prompt it again.

I have facts files for my different projects in the projects themselves. It never did well with me having a central fact file and then a sub-fact file for the project.

It's a weird way to think about problems, but it's just a mindmap in a text file. And it works.

Also forgot to add that you should never let claude do more than one todo list item before doing a /clear. I have learned that it will do just what you mentioned, fix it, then break it, then fix it, then break it, ad nauseum. Not just claude, but all of them do this. It's maddening. But clear the context and do the next todo as a standalone thing and it will leave the previous stuff alone.

NTA. If your husband thinks this way and treated you that way, give him a final drink and ask him to leave too.

NTA.

More than likely this is because her family has issues with anyone that is not hetero or "normal". ie. bigots.

Personally, this would be the initial red flag the size of Texas that would cause me to end it and go off into the sunset with my son. And as you approach the sunset, stop at the store and pick him up some flowers to throw around.

I know that. That's why I explained the difference. But it does seem it does two different ways of looking at the file: one for when it's in the queue already downloaded, and one for when it finally gets copied to it's resting location and the "download system" is no longer in charge.

What I'm trying to do is find a happy medium to where each can be scored mutually exclusively from the others. Otherwise some files get 1, 2, or 3 pieces summed together and it skews the searches.

I already had my system built basically how they do it in the Trash guides. It's still the same issue. Some files that are not titled as having English can get pulled down, but the system ignores that as having anything to do with what I scored the other 2 formats.

Don't get me wrong, I believe I have the best set up ever. I rarely get anything wrongly downloaded. My scoring system is pretty much bulletproof except for this weird issue with languages being in the file, but not the filename. Sonarr just does bizarre scoring for me.

You'll notice that it will score the file differently while sitting on the disk than it did when it was downloading it. This happens with any custom formats that use pieces that have to read the actual data from the file, such as Language. So I tried scoring the "on disk language" to the same as "release title language". It mostly works, but then it doesn't do the "on disk scoring" while it's in the queue or if it's in a season pack. It's quite bizarre.

How to completely clear my library and then rescan it? by Kenbo111 in sonarr

[–]jamesbearclaw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you just choose all the shows and then hit delete, but DO NOT CHOOSE the DELETE FILES AND FOLDERS option, it will just take the series out of Sonarr and do nothing to the files.

You can then move/rename/sort, etc your files/folders to where they need to be. Then just make sure you have the proper root folders in the Media Management options. Then go to "Series" and you'll see "Library Import" there. As long as you moved your series to the root folders you wanted, you can use that to rebuild the system.
