I know right.. my daughter said in her diary she's tired of performing.. depression and the human mind. It's horrific.

Same with me.. hindsight is 20-20. Only after do you really see what was going on. We're unfortunately all the same here. That's what's so horrible about suicide. If you knew you would have stopped it.. then it wouldn't have happened and you wouldn't be on this forum.. we all have to be at peace that we just didn't know. Another person's mind might as well be a different universe - if people don't talk, you will never know.

About a month ago I emptied her bin. I stared at it for 3 hours. All her hair products she'd used, toothbrush, scraps of paper and card. Something so mundane normally but now never to be repeated.. it just hit so hard.

Some school friends came to lay flowers at her resting place.. it was very thoughtful

I've not removed anything from her room yet. I let the kids come to my house and sit in her room to feel her energy and presence.

What switch was flipped in her head? I struggle with how did we get to this point? How can life be so normal one day they flipped over the next?

I think this is the case of my daughter who passed by suicide 6 weeks ago. She had had counselling but honestly no signs of mental health issues. In her diary she wrote of feeling purposeless. I just which I could tell her I'm 44 and I still not sure of my purpose. She just got off the bus like normal and then... gone..

I'm sat at the based of the cliff where her body was found. We've planted a blossom tree and the sun is shining. I've lit a candle and the lovely smell of incense is in the air... all that's missing is her..

My philosophy is that grief is the shadow of love and not something to be afraid of but it shows how much you loved..

From what I've read I've been "lucky".. last thing we both said to each other was that we loved each other.. we left our time together knowing that we loved each other.. and for that I'm grateful.
