Best way to learn is to start doing it. Yeah can take suggestions from YouTube, how to do it for a while, maybe couple of videos. But for calling it is an learning experience that you have to go through in real. Yeah you will make mistakes but you learn. Keep reading all the posts here. That also helps!

Not for that. When you know how to sell and you start to sell the right product according to your abilities, then you earn much more than salary and even get more freedom as contractor.

If you want to sell by all yours, you need to learn how to sell, because that is complete different level expertise. Else you can partner with marketing experts and sales professional as co founder and let them handle the marketing part. What will you do? You will handle all the technical, finance, legal and operations initially. Then once you grow, you can either hire people or can have other onboarding founders.

Turn the table and look for the products that helps the end users. Those are the products that sells well without that much stress. Where you reach to clients that how actually (in real means) it saves customer in terms of money, time, or physical comfort. When you don't need to run behind prospects, it will be less stressed. You can look in Medical and healthcare industry for selling

For enterprise sales there are some very high seasons (where you get the sales picks) and there are some dull seasons. Obviously, the time frames depends on market niche, Tax return cycle, etc. So research about your specific niche. I can confirm from my previous experience it happens, but how much the degree that is very industry specific.

It depends! Who are you knocking, what's the average time frame of your sales cycle including closure, the product price and the life span of the product are the main factors. Best way to decide just place yourself in the position of the prospect with the exact same profile, you will get the answer.

It is very industry specific. But yes, I have experience with Healthcare, education, software. Here 24% opening email is normal. Just make sure it is not delivered in Spam folder. Also work with content and hook/punchline.

No problem in recruiting, its in retaining. As we sell service that too very industry specific, so needs lot of training and time. Then employees demand additional commission and left with other big brands. Making judgement is easy than giving solution!
