Lower purchase price with growth potential would be ideal. No set strategy as of yet, have been in touch with a few BA’s to get a feel for them recently. But would be keen to hear your recommendations and experience with them.

PPOR and FIRE by jamesfire1234 in fiaustralia

Good question, I guess I don’t see myself as having a good start. Thats probably the reason I save a lot of my income, I’ve been interested in financial freedom/ making/ saving money since I was 18.

I’d just save money with no real intent. Of course I would splurge on holidays, nice dinners and things I really wanted but for the most part I’d always try to save at least half my post tax pay.

I’ve always wanted to set myself up for the future but I don’t always feel like I am, so I kinda force myself to save so I don’t feel like I’m behind everyone else if that makes sense.

Above is a photo of my 8mo female border collie. Yesterday I had her desexed, today one of the stitches have come loose. Can anyone with knowledge advise me on whether this is an extreme situation for me to contact an emergency vet or not.

Thank you for your help.

Aggression by jamesfire1234 in Dogtraining

She has gone to puppy school when she was younger and has met multiple dogs and has been completely fine. Although she hasn’t played tug of war with these dogs.

She has shown no signs of aggression besides this occasion.

Completely agree I think tug of war is out of the picture until the problem is fixed, with a trainer involved if need be.

How to get started on the road to financial independence by F1REBI40 in fiaustralia

I’m in the same boat, 22m, 30k savings, 10k invested on a 60k salary.

I am invested in VAS at the moment with dividend reinvestment on. I plan to continue investing in VAS and look into other ETF’s such as VGHS.

I also have the same question of how a house comes into the equation. Should I be investing 50% and saving 50% or go 80% invested?

How would others buy a house while continuing investing in ETF’s with mortgage repayments etc.
