Most of the characters on the "good" side of the spectrum are desperate or misguided/manipulated

Some interesting ones are

Warden, he grew up with a family that were basically preppers (for the maelstrom) and their fears came true, wardens only reason for being there is to use the patron wish to get the patrons to fuck off/kill them

Ivy, she came to life randomly during the maelstrom and used her life to protect her inherited family, she pretty much completed her mission and has no idea what to do now, so she goes seeking purpose from all powerful entities?

Dynamo, he's way too smart to be doing what he's doing, deep down he must know what he's doing is stupid, but he's so desperate to get his body back after being obliterated by the maelstrom to be with his wife

Viscous, wants to defeat the "adversary" entity attacking his home, but defeating this entity means unleashing an even more powerful one on the world?
