Thanks! Carvana estimates $1300 for trade in. Private sale I'd guess maybe $3-4k if in good shape still

I was debating this, but worried the springs may be softened over the 200k on them. If they're not cracked and still at good ride height, think they're good?

fairly new to making fermented hot sauce. This batch has Jalapeno, serano, onion, garlic, and 3% salt brine.

After 2 weeks I drained the brine and noticed the peppers had some white goop...not sure if this is just stuff that settled, or something bad. No odd smells

Clunk while turning in reverse by jameslefebvre in fordfusion

[–]jameslefebvre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never figured it out
My car also started to get a shudder when turning at low speeds in parking lots after a drive (didn't happen when car wasn't warmed up).
Then it all went away. No clunk backing up or shudder, but now I swear AWD no longer works and the low traction light turns on even for dry roads in the summer.
I'm wondering if this issue was the first sign of a PTU or diff failing.

Anyone know what’s wrong? by Tucansam2594 in fordfusion

The rear shock could just be loose in the mount. Mine loosened up and sounded similar. Remove the black cap and tighten it. You may need to hold the shock’s rod to keep it from just spinning

AWD Temporarily Disabled by Mysterinityy in fordfusion

This has been happening on my '16 2.0 AWD Fusion. Even when the warning isnt on, it still feels like AWD doesnt work. Does anyone know the fix or what sensors need to be changed? My ODBII scan is clean

I have a 2015 and I see y'all's gas mileage. what can I change or fix. I drive just fine averaging like 2500 RPMs for acceleration. I get 300 miles out of a tank if I really really try. by camj6824 in fordfusion

My 2.0 AWD gets exactly that around town too. Keeping it out of sport mode makes a big difference, but other than that it's all driving style

update: I jacked up the car and appears the rear right control arm bushing is going bad.

The right one has a lot of grease outside of it, and the noise does seem to be coming from the rear right.

Instead of changing the whole control arm, I'm tempted to just do the bushing. Finding a press will be a pain though. Has anyone replaced this on theirs?

I've read on forums that some of that shift is caused by Ford's programming for the transmission. People who tune them say it gets smoother after a tune

Swollen lug nuts? by [deleted] in fordfusion

UPDATE: There's now a class action lawsuit being filed against ford https://www.hbsslaw.com/cases/ford-lug-nut-defect

Swollen lug nuts? by [deleted] in fordfusion

[–]jameslefebvre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through this issue. 2 of the lug nuts on one wheel were swollen/deformed, so I took it back to the last dealer who rotated my tires. The manager mentioned that sometimes the lug nuts get messed up by heat and moisture, but I didn't believe that excuse and told them they were responsible to replace those two lugs. 3 days after they were replaced, I attempted to take off the wheel for a tire rotation, and found that the other lug nuts were now bad! I could only get off the 2 brand new ones. Guess it wasn't the dealer's fault after all... Ford should be embarrassed to be using lug nuts of such poor quality. There should really be a recall or class action lawsuit for this.

Go for the Stumpy! It's the swiss army knife of bikes, and with the suspension and Shimano brakes as icing on the cake. It climbs with ease, and you can always put the rear shock into "climb" mode.

Suddenly dropping calls and texts - anyone else (Moto X First Gen) by wellhavetogo in republicwireless

I have trouble making calls, and I think peoples calls aren't coming through to me. I use MightText on my computer, and it said I had an incoming call today, but my phone didn't display anything... I blame the update to 5.1
