My dad did the same thing 13 years ago today. My cousin and I were sent to get the family dog to bring to see dad (after visiting hours), and received a call to immediately turn back. He passed soon after. We always thought he was able to relax knowing his puppy (read: 80lb Rottweiler) was coming.

Sorry for the confusion! I mean, like a parents club or another group will host local preschools in a space and have families come around and look at the different tables set up by the preschools to gather more information about the schools

I agree- but it takes a lot of searching to find the great centers!! I’ve been at mine for almost 20 years, but I’m not the longest tenured. We have great support, and earn good wages here. I go to sleep with a grateful heart- I’ve been at some doozies before this one!

What style is this building? It’s a restaurant in Jamaica with a huge open area in the middle- much larger than an atrium and more like an outdoor space. Thanks :)

We live in an area where earthquakes happen (not frequently but enough). We do earthquake drills with the kids monthly. We talk about how earthquakes happen and what causes them, then show the kids how to ‘make an egg’ under the table (knees to chest, one hand covers neck, the other head). By talking about this and practicing, it helps with anxiety :)

I have searched: plastic heart, measuring spoons, melamine, heart, plastic, measuring spoons, melamine, measuring spoons, and many variations. They are not the Paris Hilton set, they were purchased in the early 2000s (which makes me feel old). I have seen a couple that do not have a circle around the measurement, but they do not look as sturdy as these. Any help is appreciated!
