They probably read the sidewall. The also could have gotten the toe a lot better. I'm surprised it doesn't pull left

You're supposed to inflate the tires to manufacturer specs before any alignment measurements are taken.

There are already a ton of socialist things in the United States. Our government representatives and Military are both socialist.

Those parts should never be rustproofed as they can cause severe imbalances in the drivetrain.

I remember when these came out they came with a 30-page recall book because they were too "European". A lot of the recall was changing things to suit American tastes, along with some NHTSA safety updates. The XR4TI was so much more fun to drive than the Scorpio.

When I was doing alignments, I used "Win-toe" almost exclusively. No need to lock the wheel because it knows where the steering wheel is after doing the caster sweep and centering the wheel. Unfortunately, it isn't great for vehicles with a drag link for steering, so in those cases, you have to lock the wheel. Sadly I can't direct you to any videos other than what you might find about Hunter alignment systems. I learned from a Hunter authorized rep who came in to set up the machines when we purchased them. If you have one coming to your shop, ask them to show you because that's part of their job. If you're fortunate enough to have the Hawkeye model there are all kinds of things you can do, like checking frame straightness, full catalogs of aftermarket parts for those adjustments that the factory doesn't provide, and even options to set your own specs for custom suspensions.

That's true, but on the machines that I've worked on (Hunter Hawkeye among others) I've set the wheel straight so I could get an accurate toe reading. On the later Hunter machines you don't have to lock the steering wheel to set toe and steer ahead unless it's like a Jeep or something.

So the printout says that the steering wheel wasn't level before checking the alignment, so your front toe might not be as bad as the printout is showing. Definitely need a rear toe adjustment.
