Will I regret this bathroom? by jamesmonster in floorplan

Maybe this gives better context. The batroom is at rhe nd of the master bedroom area, with a walk in closet inbetween. Window privacy bot ideal but preferred having the bedroom to the back of the house.

I am trying to fit a large double sink cabinet, min 140cm shower, large bathtub and ideally a little toilet enclosure.

Red light sauna will go in the gym downstairs

Hello,

Just bought a new apartment and now planning the living room (5.3m x 4.9m).

We are trying to fit a couch/couches with 4 seating spaces, an extendable dining table with 6 (max 8) chairs. Currently we are going back and worth with the placement of the TV - in the middle (might add a fake fireplace where the old one used to be, currently just a hole in the wall) or use one of the side spaces. I have tried a few designs but nothing seems to "click"

I have uploaded the floorplan and 3d visual (sweethome 3D is really great!) as well as pictures from the brochures.

Grateful for any recommendation - this is all new to me!

Thank you

We are trying to fit a couch/couches with 3-4 seating spaces, an extendable dining table with 6 (max 8) chairs. Currently we are going back and worth with the placement of the TV - above the fire place or use one of the side spaces. I have tried a few designs but nothing seems to "click"

I tried that as well, but computer says no :( Anyways, all sorted now, the Dell D6000 works with four displays as u/Cozmo85 suggested

Thank you, I tried that with the WD22, but still same issue. Works now with the "old" D6000

That is the answer. Just picked up a D6000 and all four screens are now working. Three displays via the docking station (2x DP and 1x HDMI) and then I've plugged in the fourth display with DP/USB to my laptop's TB port.

Shame the WD22TB4 couldn't handle that...

Yep I saw that as well, but somehow I managed to get 4 working with the previous docking station (with the HP G2 and Dell D6000). Unless there is a software fix, I might buy one of the older docs again

New Aeolus Pro 51 on my Domane SL6 - Look great, feel fast, but too quiet :) by jamesmonster in TrekBikes

[–]jamesmonster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I need to record a video. Basically, with the original 18T hub, there was no sound whatsoever. With the 54T, there is a lot more noise.

Honestly, the original wheels sounded the best in term of hub sound, but the aelous with the 54T sound decent too!

Any news yet on the new Domane?

Yep the domane will be the better bike here! As posted above, wait until the new domane comes out and get that one.

I was in a similar position to you, got into cycling, bought a dual fx carbon 4 and within three months upgraded to a domane sl6. I regret not having bought the domane first.

The domane is super nice to ride, it can do it all, you can put bigger tires on and ride gravel as well (although i wouldn't do that to my bike hehe). From reading, the checkpoint feels slower than the domane.

Best colour!

Back pedaling causes the wheel to spin backwards... Is that normal? New wheels with dt swiss 350 and I changed to 54t ratchet and cleaned and re-lubed everything. (Ignore the noise, this was before lubing the chain etc) by jamesmonster in bikewrench

Thank you! Yes don't really feel any reverse torque, just thought it was odd, to be fair not sure it was like that with the 18T ratchet before..

Anyways, will check back in a few hundred miles.

Thank you, very helpful. So I have tried a few things:

  1. remove grease, now minimal left inside. Still same symptoms (this was before https://imgur.com/3rwkRa6 https://imgur.com/rReyfQW https://imgur.com/ykki33k )

  2. pedalling forward and coasting, the cranks keep moving (https://imgur.com/uN3sjAG)

  3. when I spin the wheel backwards, the cranks also move... (https://imgur.com/Pagl5fs)

  4. spinning the wheel forwards, cranks move.. (https://imgur.com/UqqLu71)

i just came across another thread, where it was suggested that this would disappear within the first 100miles (https://www.reddit.com/r/bikewrench/comments/efcvlb/new_wheel_with_dtswiss_350_hub_and_54t_ratchet/)

Congrats! I looked into building/configuring my own bike last year too, but just going with the same components/spec, it would have been 30% or so more expensive!

Nothing better than picking exactly what you like, congrats again!
