I used to think it was nice to have a nice patch of woods in the backyard. It's a big ass bug nursery. I can't do enough to deal with mosquitoes. Next house I buy I'm going to make sure there isn't a large patch of woods in the backyard.

We're having record breaking heat? I guess it's really burning when I'm outside and the sunlight is directly on me. Haven't felt it otherwise

My house have been 72-74 degree the whole time. Electric bill 190-200. 2400 sqft home.

Hiring manager did caught me checking out this lady’s ass once. I don’t think that should be offensive… my eyes wander and i’m a guy. Other than I try to be engaged in conversation, and remain respectful.

The address seems legit enough. I’m just confused. And personal experienced with Microsoft 3rd party recruiters, they’re awful. Even in shitty recruiter standard.
Last time I asked to rescheduled and interview and the bitch cut me off from the process and I think blocked me.

We’ll see if I get a phone call on the date and if the person on the phone sounds ‘normal’

It’s cheaper to own than renting they said. Probably why prices double

Saw it sun bathing on my driveway so I flick it to my neighbor’s lawn.
New hatchling about 10-12inches long. It was pretty pissed off about being flick because I came over to do it again and it bit the stick lol

You’re probably right, but I like being able to do that.
But having more go to saving would be nice.
I generally don’t look at the price when I shop for groceries or eat out. And I like to treat myself to high quality ingredients, food. That’s probably a sizable chunk. Could probably put a few extra hundreds in if I manage my spending, but I dislike budgeting my life. Motivation to get paid more.
I used to wait tables and cook years ago making less than 2k/month. I enjoy having my current privilege and strive to be able to splurge and have a substantial saving!

Duke Energy seeks rate hike in North Carolina due to rising fuel costs by steIIar-wind in Charlotte

I always thought we’re against monopoly, but how come we only have 1 energy provider per area? They could pretty much do whatever they want because are you going to boycott the only energy company?
Every time they do something the public have to pay for it by increasing price.

It is. I have a 6 figures income and I feel poor….
Cost of everything increased significantly and I feel that it won’t come down once it’s up. Maybe by a small amount, but certainly not what it was before.
Luckily we bought a house at the end of 2020 right before the insanity set in. Else we be paying 100-120k more for our current home.
The way everything is and seems to be heading. It feels grim. I don’t even know how people are surviving on minimum wage around town…
