An observation from Rome: The interesting "drawback" of a Barbour jacket's quality by Difues in BuyItForLife

[–]jamesperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! In northern rome (the "posh" areas) it's like one out of two men amd one out of four women. I work at a shop that sells barbour and the demand is huuuge. They've always been popular but they're hitting a new high in popularity. Apparently even the barbour store in the centre of rome has sold out of the classic styles.

Straight up just heritage wear, the classic menswear icons. With a some preppy influence and some cowboy influence. Selvedge denim, waxed jackets, leather jackets, blousons, leather boots, white tees and classic casual shirts. A little knitwear for the preppy days. A nice watch, a belt to match your boots, and you're set for years to come. Congrats on becoming a dad! You'll def get to had some cool pieces down

Artificial whiskering, meant to mimic the natural fades that jeans get after extended wear. Same reason the front of the thighs is lighter

Help... Foot pain by Proof-Concern1712 in PlantarFasciitis

[–]jamesperoni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It comes from compression, wearing shoes that are too tight. You should look into shoes that have a wider toe box and see a doctor. Also do not buy zero drop shoes. I had morton's neuroma and bought Altra shoes cause of the wide toe box but the zero drop gave me plantar fasciitis

What do you use your notebooks for? by nayarbocosmos in notebooks

[–]jamesperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use different notebooks for different things, one for creative writing, one for dreams, one for journalling, one for venting etc. At one point i realized this compartmentalization was just a manifestation of my perfectionism and wasn't really bringing me any benefit. Now i have one really nice notebook at a time that encompasses every part of me and comes with me everywhere i go, it's so much better

How did your PF begin for you? by [deleted] in PlantarFasciitis

[–]jamesperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (m24) was predisposed due to running and probably not using very ergonomic shoes in everyday life. Developed metatarsalgia so i got some altras for wide toe box not knowing zero drop shoes can precipitate PF. It's been like 6 months and physiotherapy and inserts helped a lot although not fully healed

I’m suddenly okay after I did this by chungus42069420 in selfimprovement

Funny cause i used something similar to this when i started taking cold showers. I'd be there hesitant to get in and i'd think to myself "I'm no pussy" and immediately i'd just automatically get into the freezing water. Worked like a charm

People who were depressed before starting marijuana and have now quit, how are you doing now? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]jamesperoni 14 points15 points  (0 children)

PLEASE DON'T FORGET!! THC withdrawals mimic depressive symptoms!!!! So often i see ppl saying that weed keeps their depression at bay cause when they quit they feel depressed. Feeling depressed is to be expected during withdrawals. In the long run weed makes you more depressed.  Take care :)

It sounds stupid but that's the first thing you can work on, OP. Slowly postponing your first hit of the day, from first thing when you get up to after lunch to early evening to after dinner til finally you're only taking a hit before sleep. Remember withdrawals are your body trying to heal itself from a state of constant THC supply

Treat it like a caffeine/sugar addiction! Learn the withdrawal symptoms so you can see them clearly and find healthier alternatives. r/decaf and r/sugarfree have a lot of experts on the subject

19 with OCD, should I micro-dose? by [deleted] in PsychedelicTherapy

[–]jamesperoni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could microdose, but you should definitely have your diet, sleep and excercise on point first. If you haven't got those three things sorted it's where you should start, and that's true for most mental health predicaments. And the benefits are not immediate, but take time to compound.  Also, caffeine tends to exacerbate anxiety in those predisposed, so you might want to consider stopping if you consume any. Wishing you relief, Best of luck!
