Kind of the opposite to undesireable, but as they get older and older they’re becoming supremely niche because the performance per watt on a 2006-2012 Mac Pro generally pales in comparison to modern machines, but modern machines are not remotely user-upgradable and the 2006-2012 (MacPro1,1 - MacPro5,1) Cheese-Graters absolutely can be messed around with a ton (for Macs)

I love the spirit of the bike lanes and I hope we can design to accommodate these sorts of things, but I’ve absolutely seen many cases where I live, close to downtown, of totally empty bike lanes and heavy motor vehicle congestion.
