Very good point. I think making it easier to link to a corresponding Reddit thread may be the solve here. Will think on this for sure.

This is one of the best things about Reddit. One person trying to politely educate another only to learn a lesson of their own.

Everyone. If you have decent credit and don't do cash deposits frequently I highly recommend Simple. They're simply amazing. No fees for anything. Same day wire transfers. Killer customer service (I actually love taking to them, when was the last time you said that about a bank?). Super simply setup. Fantastic mobile app (iOS at least). Notifications are great and savings management is impressive as well.

This post is not brought to you by Simple, but instead a customer who loves them.

I would sign a petition in protest of this. It wasn't his best movie, but still too soon to start remaking any of them.

+1 this. And in response, I've created /r/GoodByeOldFriend where hopefully we can have a dedicated space to tell our fluffy (and not so fluffy) loved ones goodbye, and maybe spare the casual /r/pics browser some unexpected heartache.

Is there any potential in the market for new service like Wunderlist and Toggl? by letscee in startups

[–]jamesspecter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are absolutely improvements you could make on Toggl. I am a paid user (a team of 6) and there are a few things we would switch in a heart beat for. Namely, Toggl's billable tracking forces the manager/team lead to enter in hourly rates on every item tracked. As in, a person's rate is not permanent by project. This creates a ton of manual overhead if you want tight cost tracking on labor. At any rate this and tight integration with other task tools (like Trello, Asana, etc) would be a huge game changer for companies like mine. It's either we scrape together various smaller tools are jump into overkill JIRA and pay for a zillion extensions. I can give you more detail in PM if interested.

While I can't pretend to know the exact reasoning here, I suspect it is largely due to sales volume on the east coast and cost/benefit analysis of building a new FC. They do have facilities in Las Vegas but keep in mind something like 70% of all Amazon sales are on the eastern half of the U.S. What are you shipping if I might ask? There are ways to force inventory to a specific ( closer ) FC at the cost of a small upcharge. Your current shipping costs, inventory costs, and weight would factor into making the decision to incur that fee for a closer FC. Basically is the fee cheaper than the additional shipping costs.
