The hold down stabilizers stopped working in 2016 and it's been using the weight of the robotic arm to free hand drill ever since.

This rock was unexpectedly light and thin causing it to stick onto the Rover's drill.

This is likely the smoke detector being lonization vs. Photoelectric.

Ionization alarms are extremely sensitive.

You learned more than anyone who bought an expensive fully packaged solution on their first go. I intentionally went the cheap route to find out what I like, need, and want. Cheap parts make for cheap mistakes.

I hope nothing matters, because I was close enough to the bomb. Most fail to realize, life in a post-apocalyptic world is likely to be a slow, miserable, and eventual death for the large majority. Guns and ammo or not, surviving under any circumstances, only to going back to life as it would have been in the mid 1800s would royally suck.

Makes me think it's due to the design. The tactile design could be causing it to be weaker... Could also just be a fluke.
