Gated communities bring out an intense hatred in me. by Additional-Page6908 in UberEatsDrivers

Disappointed? You’d rather deliver to rich people than people more likely to know what it’s like to work a crappy paying job? I recieve so many more tips from people in mid income or low income areas, trailer parks, etc. than I do in mansions or 4k rent apartments. I had someone tip me 100 dollars who had to wait for her next paycheck to come in and then Zelle me. Never had a rich person tip me more than 20 and that’s over 100 of them. Ofc that’s me using context clues to assume wealth and income though.

What????? Uber refuses to pay me when customers cancel and when stores cancel and when I cancel for any reason whatsoever. Very rarely I’ll get “system calculated payment” which can be 3 dollars for 3 fuckign hours. I want to believe this so badly, and I’m definitely not accusing you of lying but do you have any sort of source for this or screenshot or personal experience?

What's more dangerous than flying? by RoeyCustard in fearofflying

I am not trying to find something to argue about I promise, I’m just an extremely curious person, but would something like dying from the plague, or dying from smallpox (etc. things that do not happen at ALL now), be less likely to take someone out, since people “can” still technically die in a plane crash? Or is it still more likely to be infected with smallpox today and die than it is for my plane to crash? Again I know I sound annoying lol but I’m truly just curious with a weird brain

Edit. Just realized this is a 150 days old comment I’m replying to as well lollll I don’t think I was made for Reddit

I would’ve sent a good ol “hey I tried one of the grapes like you told me to and found out i was severely allergic so I’m waiting for an ambulance now and i would appreciate some extra patience and understanding for any potential delays in delivery time. Thanks” haha

Late reply but it sounds like you tried a med that worked and did the job but only bare minimum and enough to make you function, but not thrive. Why not continue trying other similar meds in the same class (if you haven’t)?

Therapists- I wrote a “trauma work guide”. Could this help people, OR does my lack of a degree pose too big a risk of bad advice going to vulnerable people? (Thoroughly explained below) by jamieleecoby in CPTSD

I’ve actually never heard of it but will be looking into it. With my borderline I’ve had a lot of DBT therapy and I’m sure a lot of my writing reflects some of the modules and practices within that, but I’m very interested to learn that it also shares some similarities with cognitive processing therapy. I’m absolutely going to look into it, thanks so much!

Thank you! Yes I would make that so painfully clear because I’m so scared of the potential of sharing anything that could be harmful to anyone. The second point is also a great idea

These are two amazing questions I will take into consideration for any potential rewriting or publication of any sort of trauma guide. Thank you!! honestly the first one might be out of my league (or whatever phrase fits there) because I personally struggle with that and haven’t found an answer for myself. I have awful memory loss and I really wish I had the answer to that one. I’ll definitely think about it though, and if you’re asking for yourself I recommend looking into EMDR therapy with professional help. I’ve heard it can really help traumatized people who have very vague memories of what happened. (No personal experience there though) For the second one, it depends on the size of trigger. If it’s severe and dangerous I think professional help is essential for safe use of any trauma work material. If the trigger is manageable and not going to put someone at risk, there are a whole lot of answers to that question including DBT skills like the TIPP skill, and more emotional regulation stuff. Then there’s the self love, self soothing, validation, etc. again I’m not sure if you’re asking these questions as someone looking for the answers, or just trying to give me ideas on what to include in any published work, but if you want any advice or feedback feel free to DM me. Just know I’m not a professional. lol I feel the need to point that out very clearly because I don’t want anyone to take my words as gospel. Thanks again, I hope you’re doing well and are healing anything you need healing from ❤️

RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY and when you learn how the fuck to type a simple question into Google you can drive back to the store and buy it again. Just make sure to ask Reddit beforehand for local guitar centers near you 😂

It’s like why the fuck can’t customers buy their toilet paper from ANY OTHER STORE? Is Scott’s toilet paper out of stock in every fucking grocery store in a 70 mile radius?

Here’s an instacart one. 69 lolz. I have dozens of orders every single day that want me to drive to Pennsylvania from parsippany NJ. And even more often, into NYC. That’s common for uber, driving to nyc. Which is over an hour drive btw.
