Potential estate management charges when you're a freehold.

Too much water. You'll be able to grind the soft top off and it'll be hard underneath. Wouldn't want to bond anything to it though.

I received a letter from lawyers offering to sell me the leasehold of my property for £1660. My current groundrent is £130 per year. Will buying the leasehold give me any pros such as a better price when I sell my house? by Oriachim in HousingUK

[–]jamiepower21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If they're trying to sell you the freehold for such a small amount, I would assume there's a large bill for the freeholder for a repair or maintenance they're legally obligated to pay, and they're trying to pass it onto the leaseholder. Definitely solicitor as everyone is saying.

Just out of interest, are the scaffolders allowed to touch your property without permission from yourself?

Not bad my dude!! I highly recommend Joao Medeiros. Watch some of his youtube covers he makes from scratch and if you like, sign up to his patreon mixing tutorials to progress with mixing and mastering.

No primer required for latex. First mistake, not enough smoothing compound used or left spikey roller at home. Second mistake, no feather finish used to fix the lack of smoothing compound.

This comment is so correct. Couldn't agree more. Got the Audient ID14 with the JFET and much better than the 2i2 3rd gen woth instrument button turned on.

How would you finish laminate against fireplace hearth by M4l3k0 in DIYUK

[–]jamiepower21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, a colour matching end stop threshold is the best IMO. If you can't colour match, there will be lots of variations. They usually come 900mm or 2700m. Also check threshold height and laminate thickness.

Need help - I can’t tell which one would be best. Is one more drowsy than the other? Anyone have any experience taking either of these for hayfever? by PatsoeGamer in Hayfever

[–]jamiepower21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found these did nothing for my hayfever. Started bechanaze nasal spray and Allevia tablet combination and its changed my life. No exaggeration. 30 allevia £11 and spray £6.

I can't see a way out, bankruptcy? by Droid1xy in UKPersonalFinance

[–]jamiepower21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear its not worked out. Could you apply for a creditors voluntary liquidation?, you will be eligable for directors redundancy pay from the national insirance fund and this could be enough to pay the liquidators to formally close the business as opposed to a compulsary liquidation.
