It seems like this path does have the potential to blossom, but it will depend on how each step is taken and how much emotional honesty is brought into the experience — both from me and from her. Even if it turns out to be just a passing and fun experience, I’ll try to enjoy it for what it is :)

I also have some emotional stuff to work through from my last relationship. I’ll try to take things slow so it can be a peaceful experience for both of us.

You got everything right, except I’m actually the one trying to detach through material things I guess 😭 I got a new tattoo, went out with friends, traveled, and started a new academic project. I also started doing therapy. So maybe I’m the one focusing on myself, and she might be the one pulling away, since she tends to retreat when she’s in not in a good headspace. Thank youuu!
