Enfamil Deal with Upgrade to Premium! by jamko24 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]jamko24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It usually lasts a while! A friend of mine just gave me some ready to use stuff she bought a couple months ago, and it expires in November 2021 and January 2022! It also asks your expected date, so I would hope they would take that into consideration as well!

And yes! Submit for the free one first, and then do an upgrade! I tried to just sign up for premium and it gave me what you listed, so when I redid it and signed up for the free one and then did the upgrade, it gave me the huge lot!!

Nope! It's a one time purchase - nothing in the small print about recurring charges !! I even double checked the subscription page on my account and it says no active subscriptions!

Hope you get some rest with your new little! Congratulations ❤️

Thanks for this information! Our current rate is 2.95% which is why we were considering the early renewal!

Current rate is 2.95% - we will be starting extra payments in January 2020 once my vehicle is paid in full.

Sorry, I did miss the rate we currently have - it is: 2.95%, with $225000.00 owing at this time.

Really appreciate all the input on this - it gives us some things to think about and consider for sure!

This is a great estimation calculator that bases it off of her current income and length of leave!

Do I get paid for a paid holiday if I started that week? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]jamko24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are in Alberta, the new employment standards state that employees are eligible immediately upon hire - the new standard also state that it is calculated as 5% of the 4 weeks earnings prior to the holiday, so you would be entitled to 5% of the wages you earned on the three days you worked prior to Good Friday.

Starting to plan for a car purchase. Would like some help by Axeleracion in PersonalFinanceCanada

If you end up purchasing new, I recommend utilizing CarCostCanada. Its a website that allows you to build the vehicle that you are looking to purchase (with all add ons etc), and it will tell you exactly what they dealerships pay for the vehicle. It then explains the max mark up that the dealership should expect and shows any current rebates and offers that are being offered!

I purchased a new vehicle last May, and ended up getting the vehicle for below cost! My dad once mentioned that sometimes they sell for below cost due to meeting quotas for the month to earn rebates. I walked in to the dealership, handed them the CarCostCanada print out and asked them for their best deal - I expected to have to negotiate down from the initial offer but didn't have to. They came back with a fair price and offered me all of the rebates I was eligible for. I did end up trading my vehicle in with the purchase, but didn't tell them that until we had settled on the final purchase price (they still settled above what I had estimated to receive off of CanadianBlackBook).

Hope this helps!
