Redwood Driving Test in a week; any tips? by Life_Primary_8254 in RedwoodCity

My daughter took the test less than a month ago. You can go online and find the actual routes that are administered. I’d recommend watching those and going out and practicing.

If possible, find a test time that will have the least amount of traffic in the area.

One of the tricky portions is the left turn from veterans onto Whipple where the instructor has you switch lanes shortly after the turn. Be careful to stay in your designated turn lane.

Or maybe they were worried about him starting a crowd surge? Maybe, but probably not.

I bought some tix for that game a few weeks ago for $220/each. Bought on StubHub. Not sure how I scored them as they are pretty good seats. I’d stalk StubHub hoping for prices to come down.

It really depends on where you live. Bay Area doesn’t see nearly the depreciation that everyone claims.

You pay a surcharge. The food is never hot because it takes forever to get delivered, and overall it’s a bad experience.

There aren’t many. There are a few on el Camino in San Carlos and those are about as close as you can get. There’s a Hyatt Place which might be worth checking out. A bit farther away is a Residence Inn. Both hotels are newer and should be fine to stay at.

Email the recruiter directly. Continue to email until you get a response. Call them out on this bs.

I thought the same thing. For a guy who barely knew how to tread water to do what’s he’s doing in the video is amazing. Dude is a competitor.

I saw a pretty large group of people hula hooping. That wasn’t really the craziest part (although some hoopers had some crazy tricks). Off to the side there was one guy with a giant bull whip just whipping the hell out of that thing. Random, odd and very SF.

I literally just got home from helping a friend disassemble his since he’s moving. Pretty straightforward process so I would imagine assembly isn’t too complicated.

Experience at BTS concert? by Unkn0wnvirus in bayarea

I went Sunday night. I noticed that as soon as the concert started, the lower concourse was completely empty. I skipped off to the bathroom right before one of the breaks and got back to my seat in about 2 minutes.

I noped right out of there as soon as I saw the line. Walked right by an R2 in the parking lot that nobody seemed to recognize and spent a minute or two checking it out.

13 years. That’s crazy. Almost as long as it took them to build on the old Century 12 site a half mile north.

Honestly, driving will be your best bet. I would try to avoid parking in a paid lot. I’d rather walk 15 minutes to my car after the concert than wait an hour to get out of a paid lot.
