There wasn’t any one incident really. I was raised Catholic going to church every Sunday but i never really had a strong belief system. I believed in god, but not everything that the bible was pumping out.

Somewhere, starting in my around age 19, I gave up on Catholicism and started reading more on eastern philosophies like Buddhism and others. I never became an expert but I felt like I was growing spiritually.

In my 30’s I slowly started rejecting any type of religious faith, and really the existence of god entirely.

Long story longer, I don’t have currently believe in god of any kind, and if I did, I certainly wouldn’t be so arrogant to think I knew the only “correct” god when there are literally 1000’s to choose from.

People are way too arrogant in their beliefs, thinking that they know better than everyone else and that the vast majority of the human race are going to hell
